Jasmine came to the U.S. thinking she could soon start a family by getting her sons to live with Gino, but he let her down by messing up with her visa application. She has since expressed how stressed she’s been, and Jasmine even faced severe alopecia. She finally felt happy in America when she figured she could participate in a beauty pageant. However, Gino doesn’t have a job and refused to pay Jasmine’s fees.

Gino surprises Jasmine by telling her he had already paid her $1,200 beauty pageant fee at the behest of his Uncle Marco. However, he has some “expectations” that he needs from her, such as her not starting arguments and not saying hurtful things when they argue. Jasminelabels this behavior by Gino as “manipulative psychology,” and the couple starts arguing once again.
Is Jasmine Right That Gino’s Using “Manipulative Psychology” On Her?
Gino’s requests are reasonable considering how Jasmine has been shown acting with him across their past 90 Day Fiancé seasons. Jasmine gets into arguments with Gino when she doesn’t get what she wants or when he puts his foot down and acts firm instead of giving in to her demands. Jasmine doesn’t think she starts arguments. She tells Gino that she gets “mad” when he doesn’t listen to her. Jasmine tells Gino that it’s always his family who has to convince them to do something. “Always third parties,” she adds.
“He is not treating me as a wife.”
Jasmine is feeling hurt that Uncle Marco pressured Gino into paying the fees. She thinks that he is trying to “condition” her. She feels that the “manipulative psychology” Gino uses on her is used to train dogs. She declares that she isn’t a dog and that Gino isn’t God but, rather, a “bald man.” Jasmine has had a lot of complaints about him ever since they got married. First, Jasmine accused Gino of controlling how she spends money and making her ask him for money, even to buy things like tampons. Moreover, Jasmine convinced him he had some “deep sexual issues.”
It’s easy to see that Jasmine wasn’t happy with Gino and their marriage and may have sought her way out when she met a man named Matt Branis. Jasmine allegedly cheated on Gino with the struggling actor and is now living with Matt in Detroit after Gino kicked her out. However, time will tell if Gino and Jasmine are really over. They’ve recently been spotted out together in public. There’s speculation that the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8 couple reached a settlement and opted for an open marriage so she could stay happy.
