A lot has happened in 90 Day Fiancé mother and son duo Kim Menzies and Jamal Menzies’ lives since their last stint together on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 7. Kim, a 50-year-old woman, fell in love with Nigerian singer Usman Umar AKA Sojaboy’s music and soon reached out to him via DM. She yearned for Usman, who was with his other American girlfriend Zara, but he decided to give his fangirl Kim a chance after his breakup. Usman also wasn’t keen on dating Kim because of a bad experience with his American ex-wife, Lisa Hamme. But Kim didn’t give up and made Usman fall for her.
Kim and Usman were engaged amid her son Jamal making an appearance in their storyline. Jamal was skeptical of Usman’s intentions. However, Usman won him over by giving him a PS5. Kim and Usman were discussing adopting his nephew, so they could raise a new child in the U.S. Eventually, Kim and Usman broke up, and Kim found a new companion to continue her 90 Day Fiancé journey with. Usman is currently dating American woman Kiera Ogden, who he had met on social media. He’s been touring the UK and met Kiera there, as she celebrated her birthday with her boyfriend. Usman threw shade at Kim in his caption as he wrote, “I’m officially off the market not by force but by choice, this one is the right one for me.” But Kim wasn’t one to digest Usman’s insult quietly. She posted a selfie on her IG captioned, “Happiness is a mood. Staying positive is a mindset.” In the picture taken at the San Diego County Fair, Kim showed off her wide smile and freshly styled hair.
Jamal Is Still Dating 90 Day Fiancé Co-Star Veronica
Jamal caught Veronica Rodriguez’s eye when he made his appearance at the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5 Tell-All. “Look, I don’t know, but I want to know how old he is because…” Veronica had told Tim Malcolm while watching Jamal on an episode of Pillow Talk. Veronica had reached out to Jamal through DM and met him in San Diego, which is where things immediately took off. When Veronica introduced Jamal as her love interest on the 90 Day: The Single Life reunion, he made it clear he wanted a casual relationship. However, Jamal and Veronica were spotted together filming while holding hands in April 2023.
90 Day Fiancé Star Kim Is Now An “Official Homeowner”
As Usman celebrates his relationship success with his new girlfriend Kiera, Kim is making mature decisions such as moving out of her childhood home. Kim recently posted an Instagram story where she revealed she’s an “official homeowner.” She has many “bittersweet” memories attached to her old home, but she looks forward to new beginnings.
