Chantel Jimeno, née Everett, has been at the center of five seasons of family drama on The Family Chantel. Now, it’s time to talk about what the 33-year-old reality star is up to following season 5. Known for her turbulent split with her now-ex, Pedro Jimeno, Chantel really brought the drama in the latest season. Her heart was breaking while the cameras rolled. She’d believed in Pedro and he hurt her badly.

The American beauty first entered the spotlight on 90 Day Fiancé, after Pedro from the Dominican Republic obtained his K-1 visa to join her in the United States. Chantel’s parents Karen and Thomas Everett put Pedro under intense scrutiny. After repeatedly questioning his intentions on the reality dating series, the family got a spin-off show, The Family Chantel. It dealt with the fallout from Karen and Thomas’s treatment of Pedro. However, things changed during season 2, when Chantel’s brother Royal Wylie had his relationship with his wife Angenette Wylie analyzed.
Thomas and Karen’s interference certainly put a strain on Chantel and Royal’s relationships. However, it appears as though both siblings have managed to keep their marriages intact in spite of the family drama. Fans last saw Chantel on television during the final episode of The Family Chantel season 5. Long before that, in season 2, friction reached a high when Chantel and her family seemingly upstaged Angenette at her own wedding.
After season 2, it seemed like Chantel had sorted out her problems with Pedro. She also built a career for herself. Since the conclusion of season 2, Chantel has continued to rise as an Instagram influencer. She’s found success online by leveraging her reality television fame. As of July 2024, she has one million followers. She’s one of the most popular 90 Day Fiancé alumni. It’s possible that Chantel is making big money on the platform.
In the past, the reality star took the time to debunk plastic surgery rumors. Though Chantel has admitted to getting Botox injections, she denies having breast augmentation surgery. Chantel & Pedro Had A Messy Breakup
In The Family Chantel season 5, their controversial and emotional split was shown onscreen. Pedro seemed to want the breakup – Chantel was the distraught one. There were so many awful moments, including a meeting where they had to discuss the sale of their home. Pedro wanted to list the property as he was a fledgling realtor. What Pedro does isn’t Chantel’s business anymore – she needs to put him out of her mind. In 2024, she is valiantly trying to build a better future. A man who wants out and can’t be trusted is not worth loving. Chantel has learned so many painful lessons. Now, it’s her time to bloom as a single woman. She is stronger than she’s ever been. Her pain has built her character. Chantel is ready for the next step in her life.

Chantel is glowing in 2024, and in the post shown above, she’s getting some tender loving care from her glam squad. Always beautiful, with makeup or without, Chantel does look fabulous when she’s dressed to the nines with professional hair and makeup. While she has tons of natural beauty she’s not averse to tweaking her looks, as in other posts, she’s been promoting lip fillers.
She shouldn’t have to explain or apologize for these choices – it’s her life and she looks amazing. The travel nurse is a heavy hitter at Instagram – in fact, she’s much more popular on the platform than her handsome ex Pedro, who has had to turn off the comments more than once. He currently (as of July 2024) has 437K followers. That’s pretty good for a “villain” like Pedro, but she’s got more than double the followers.
Their breakup was intense and uncomfortable. Chantel was pushing for couples counseling – Pedro was checking out emotionally. She was running hot and he was scarily cold.
