Several 90 Day Fiancé stars can no longer be considered villains because of how they’ve been behaving in 2023. Villains are a necessary ingredient in any reality TV show that shocks and entertains. The 90DF franchise has been home to several bad guys and girls who carved a permanent spot for themselves on the hate list thanks to their bad behavior.
From creating conflicts between family members to running their relationships, these celebs have done all they can to present themselves as the biggest villains on reality TV. However, things are changing in 2023. Not all of them want to remain villainous going forward.
Angela Deem
Angela is considered one of the biggest 90 Day Fiancé villains for a reason. Her double standards often land her in trouble. Angela has Michael Ilesanmi on a tight leash because of his cheating with a local woman. Angela has never been able to trust Michael since then but strangely doesn’t mind openly flirting with random men herself. Angela has screamed at Michael on multiple occasions on the show. She’s even shown her violent tendencies during fights. Angela’s co-stars, too, haven’t been able to save themselves from her wrath which she’s unleashed on them for no reason.
However, Angela showed a different side to herself during the recently concluded 90 Day: The Last Resort. Angela started on her usual note by engaging in a fight with Liz Woods but soon changed her tune when she discovered how her relationship issues with Michael were negligible compared to what the other women on location were going through. Angela became a motherly figure to the younger women, especially Yara Zaya, Liz, and Kalani Faagata. Angela gave Liz her own dress to wear during the recommitment ceremony and consoled Yara when she found out about Jovi Dufren’s strip club visits.
Kalani even had some nice words to say about Angela recently on her Instagram stories. When asked if Angela is “over the top” in person as well, Kalani said, “Yes and we love her for it.” She said that the Angela she knows in real life is extremely kind and takes care of everyone around her. According to Kalani, Angela is fiercely protective of her people. She is one of Kalani’s “favorite humans.” Kalani feels thankful for being Angela’s friend. Perhaps Angela’s loud and aggressive personality gets lost in translation on camera, or she simply amps it up a couple of notches for reality TV.
Big Ed Brown

Like Angela, Big Ed has been one of the most loathed cast members in the franchise, even if he is also one of the most recognizable ones. When Big Ed began his journey via 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 4, he received sympathy from those who felt he was just a lonely old man looking for love. Big Ed’s true nature was revealed when he interacted with Rosemarie Vega. He insulted her for her appearance and bad breath while he kept his real height and vasectomy procedure a secret from his girlfriend. Rose was celebrated as the hero for splitting up with Big Ed.
He continued to garner hate for his social media behavior such as making an insensitive Veterans Day post or setting himself on fire on Instagram Live. Big Ed and Liz’s relationship had issues as well. A leaked audio clip revealed how he treated her in the relationship. He could be heard calling her dumb a total of eight times and dropping the f-bomb 19 times during a 20-minute phone call. Big Ed and Liz broke up 13 times until he got down on one knee to propose to her on 90 Day: The Last Resort for “the very last time.”
Big Ed was a changed person during the spin-off. He didn’t want to keep any secrets from Liz. He told her about Jovi’s plan to visit the strip clubs in secret. Therapy was working for Big Ed, and he didn’t want to mess up the progress he’d made. He told Liz that she made him want to be a better man. “You’re making me a better son, a better father, and a better partner,” he added while recognizing Liz as a loving mom and fiancé. Big Ed’s words moved Liz, and it melted a few fans’ hearts too.
Anfisa Arkhipchenko
Even though Anfisa is the only 90 Day Fiancé cast member to be a part of House of Villains, she’s hardly shown any villainous tendencies since she quit the 90 Day franchise. Anfisa was labeled a gold digger when she openly admitted to being with Jorge Nava for his money and not his heart. Anfisa wanted the most expensive purse, wedding dress, and ring from her man. She left him when Jorge went to prison. Jorge claimed he found out that Anfisa had a new boyfriend after he read about it on the internet.
However, Anfisa showed a different side on social media to prove she was never a villain. Anfisa became a certified personal trainer and fitness model by staying dedicated to her goals. She earned respect from fans for securing a degree in business administration. Anfisa is using her green card well while making her followers believe in the power of persistence. The way she interacts with her fans online as she answers their queries about fitness, fashion, etc. also speaks volumes. Fans have started to truly believe that Anfisa in 2023 is everything but a villain.

“Mama’s boy” Colt is one of the best examples of a reality TV bad boy turned good. Colt earned his notoriety from 90 Day Fiancé season 6 when he was introduced along with Brazilian ex Larissa Lima to fans. Colt made Larissa’s life miserable. She was even arrested multiple times and came close to being deported from the U.S. Colt’s next relationship with Jess Caroline was no better. He cheated on her with multiple women, including his current wife Vanessa Guerra. Colt’s toxic relationship with his mom influenced his relationships with his partners, but he soon began treating his mom badly and made her cry.
However, Colt earned sympathy from fans when he had a terrible accident in December 2022. As shared by Vanessa, Colt used a wheelchair after he broke his leg while jumping on a trampoline. Colt was left unable to walk and needed months of therapy to recover. He’s had three surgeries already and will be undergoing a fourth one soon. 90 Day Fiancé fans wish for Colt to recover soon. While it doesn’t make them forget his past, they hope the experience has humbled him and that down the road, Colt becomes a changed man.
