Brennan and Emily both looked happy to be marrying each other on their wedding day, but the attraction didn’t last. At least not for Brennan, who made it clear he wasn’t attracted to Emily. Although they initially seemed to have great chemistry, Brennan started pulling away from Emily during their honeymoon in Cancun. During a recent couple’s retreat in a secluded cabin, Emily was in an ATV accident (via Lifetime) and had to be rushed to the hospital for stitches. The traumatic experience bonded Emily and Brennan closer together, but there still seems to be problems.

The Married At First Sight season 17 trailer for next week’s episode showed Clare and Emily responding to their husbands, Cameron and Brennan, respectively, spending time together without their wives. The pair cried over a hint that two men may have double-dated. The editing of the brief clip implied that Clare and Emily could have potentially been upset about their husbands cheating on them. This is unlikely to be the case, as both Cameron and Brennan have been respectful to their wives throughout the whole experience.
