They ended things on their one-month anniversary, allegedly due to Clare’s lack of attraction and Cameron not wanting to raise kids in religion. But after Decision Day, Clare accused Cameron of silencing her, prompting Cameron to reveal that Clare had been manipulating him and driving their narrative so she wouldn’t look bad. Cameron Developed A Heart Condition
After Cameron and Clare ended things, Cameron developed a scary and rare heart condition and had to have heart surgery. He could not let his blood pressure rise or else it could do permanent damage to his heart. Moreover, he had to avoid stressful situations, including having communication with Clare and being involved in the filming process. At the Reunion, Married at First Sight fans learned that Cameron was doing better, and was able to get back on a mountain bike over the summer.
Has Cameron Earned Clout From The Show?
Since the majority of the Married at First Sight season 17 women are alleging that all the men of the season came on the show for motives other than getting married, Cameron’s motive should be looked at. Cameron owns a bike shop in Boulder, Colorado. It’s hard to say whether Cameron’s bike shop has gained more notoriety or business as a result of his Married at First Sight appearance, but his shop was featured on the show. Whether that was intentional for clout is still a mystery.
Did Cameron & Clare Try Their Relationship Again?
At the Reunion, Cameron asserted that he came on the show to find a wife and really wanted to get married. He thought Clare was that person when they got married on their wedding day (via Lifetime.) However, bad blood grew between the two, and it was clear each thought the other was lying about basically everything. Cameron alleged that Clare had a boyfriend she was in love with the whole time, and Clare accused Cameron of being the ring leader of strategizing their narrative to make themselves look better.
In any case, in a strange turn of events, Cameron said he would be open to wiping the slate clean and try having a romantic relationship with Clare.
Clare did not seem interested, and there is no evidence to suggest that they repaired anything, especially with how nasty things got between them with their hate for each other being palpable.
