General Hospital Spoilers: Will Dex Pay Fatal Price for Sonny Snitching – Carly Can’t Save Him This Time?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) may have just made a fatal mistake by going to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and snitching. Most GH fans were absolutely floored when Dex admitted everything – including how he scored incriminating Pikeman evidence against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Dex also pointed the finger at Sonny for ordering Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) demise, but the whole thing didn’t make much sense.

The writers were perhaps trying to make Dex seem like he’d decided to man up and face the consequences, but it didn’t really come across that way.

It felt more like a sloppy act of revenge on Sonny – one that implicated Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) since Dex confirmed he eventually started working for them to help mob boss Sonny when he was in over his head.

Of course, Anna had to tell dumb Dex that the prosecution would go nowhere and that Sonny would take him out if they pursued this path.

Even so, Dex offered help to bring Sonny down, so all of this feels extremely dangerous.

The last time Sonny took Dex out to the Pine Barrens, he didn’t have all the facts and misunderstood the traitor situation.

In that case, it made sense for Carly to come to Dex’s rescue, but she has no reason to now that he’s a dirty blabbermouth and no longer Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) boyfriend.

Since we’ve established that Dex isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, he may admit to snitching at some point – or perhaps Anna will let something slip instead that leads to Sonny realizing Dex must’ve betrayed him again.

Dex was given a chance to flee Port Charles and start a new life, but he returned to PC soon after.

That was strike two after Dex’s initial betrayal – and now this snitching disloyalty may be strike number three!

Is there any coming back from all this for Dex? This writing certainly isn’t putting the audience on Dex’s side, so he may pay with his life in the end.

Since Josslyn is suddenly struggling with what Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was capable of while working for Sonny, it’d bring some good angst if Jason had to eliminate Dex down the road.

Dex’s vendetta could grow and lead to him leaning into vigilante justice since Sonny seems untouchable when it comes to proper legal channels.

What if Dex snaps and tries to take Sonny out himself since Josslyn has made him out to be such a sinister individual?

Jason might have to take Dex out first, which could leave guilty Josslyn feeling like she set this whole nightmare in motion.

Bottom line, Dex has crossed a major line, so our predictions suggest it may not end well for him!
