General Hospital Spoilers: Obrecht’s Big Surprise for Nina – Sonny’s Final Gift Before It All Falls Apart?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) went along with Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) plan to elope and ditch all the usual wedding hassles. Now Nina and Sonny just have to concentrate on saying their vows and celebrating this happy occasion.

Of course, it won’t be that simple thanks to Nina’s SEC tipoff secret, which is on the verge of exposure.

Nevertheless, Nina has a little more bliss headed her way before her world gets blown to bits!

Kathleen Gati (Liesl Obrecht) recently offered some hints on social media about her imminent return to the show.

Many GH fans have been missing Liesl, but we won’t have to wait too much longer on her exciting comeback.

In fact, there’s a good chance Obrecht will return to our screens just in time for Nina’s wedding.

Will Liesl be the big surprise Nina receives on October 9 shortly before her looming nuptials?

Obrecht has disappeared from the canvas lately, but Sonny might ensure that she makes a return appearance before he ties the knot with Nina.

It’d mean a great deal to have Liesl at the tiny ceremony, so Sonny might arrange for her to travel to the island with them if they indeed up marrying there.

It looks like Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will be in attendance as well, but that’ll lead to trouble once Michael discovers Nina’s SEC-related guilt and reveals it.

Nina’s going to need some support once her marriage ceremony ends in catastrophe, so that’s another good reason for GH writers to include Obrecht.

Liesl may have to comfort Nina in the aftermath if Sonny dumps her for tattling on Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

The fact that Nina has lied to Sonny for months should be a real problem – not to mention all the danger Nina’s SEC tipoff led to for Drew!

Willow is obviously going to blow her top over Nina’s actions as well.

In other words, Nina should be glad she has Liesl to lean on once life as she knows it falls apart. After Sonny and Willow turn against Nina, she may sob in Liesl’s arms.
