General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Isn’t Striking Back At Carly — But She Will Make Ava Pay
General Hospital spoilers report Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) has shown sincere reservation and restraint in striking back at Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Some might argue there would be no point at this juncture — because Nina is already the bad guy — but a new version of heartbreak is going to drive Nina to a dark place she hasn’t felt the presence of for many years.
Nina is still holding out hope that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will decide he doesn’t want their brand spanking new marriage to be over. But someone should warn her not to hold her breath as tension rises between them both alongside Ava Jerome (Maura West).
General Hospital Spoilers — Ava Jerome And Sonny Corinthos Become A Team
Currently, Ava doesn’t consider herself to be anything less than Nina’s best friend, but her history with Sonny dates back further, and she doesn’t exactly agree with how low down and dirty Nina got toward Carly either.
Now that Sonny and Ava are spending more time together, Nina couldn’t care less. She’s hardly concerned that they’re anything more than co-parents, and it was her who nudged Sonny to offer Ava protection.
So will she only have herself to blame when they give Ava a whole lot more than that? We know better. Nina is going to blame Ava — and she will make both her and Sonny pay for their transgression.
GH Spoilers – Tease They’ll Be More Than That
Ava was injured in the shooting on Sonny’s island, and that’s only going to lead him to want to protect her even more than he already was.
Knowing that he brought her there to keep her safe from harm — and that she was harmed anyway — will weigh on the don.
He likes to ensure that his baby mamas are never collateral damage in his wars, and he’s not even sure who this enemy is to be able to take them out. Holding on tighter to Ava just might end up turning into Sonny literally holding onto Ava.
General Hospital Spoilers — A Hefty Price
Right now, Nina likely imagines her life can’t get any worse. When she was still with Sonny, her biggest fear was losing him to Carly.
She never once considered the possibility of losing him to someone else — much less someone she trusted. It seems that betrayal will go both ways in this love triangle.
Ava truly does feel for Nina, but she tried to warn her not to go too far against Carly. She also told her to tell Sonny the truth months ago.
That being said, when Nina learns that Ava and Sonny have fallen for one another during their time away, it’ll be a dream come true for her to try to blow up their hot new fling with the truth bomb that Ava knew it was Nina all along, too.
