General Hospital Spoilers: Kate Mansi Opens Up About The Huge Crush She Has On Fellow Castmate
General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) has a lot on her plate: from carrying her sister’s baby as a surrogate to embarking on a nice romance with Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) to helping her gal pal come out of the closet.
While Kristina has been wowed by Blaze, actress Kate Mansi recently reveals the not-so-secret crush she has on a fellow castmate and the “hope” she once had that their characters could hook up.
General Hospital Spoilers – Who Is Kate Mansi’s Castmate Crush?
Mansi tells SOD that when she was recast into the role of Kristina last year, she instantly hit it off with Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri).
She states that “everyone” in her life, including her boyfriend and the rest of GH’s cast and crew knows the “show” crush she has on Zamprogna, stating he’s simply the “greatest”, something she tells him “every day”.
In fact, Kate is a tad sad that Kristina and Dante are brother and sister, which means zero chances of an onscreen romance. But, it sounds like the two have a ton of fun while filming family scenes together.
GH Spoilers – There’s A True Feeling Of “Family” On The Set
According to Mansi, Dominic has this familiar “Italian” energy. She finds him to be super-talented, and from the moment they were introduced, she felt like she had known him forever.
Mansi tells SOD that Zamprogna’s “a bonefide, old-school babe”, adding “he’s like a ‘90s hunk that belongs in Tiger Beat magazine”. She goes on to say it’s a running joke on GH’s set that she has a crush on him.
Still, it sounds like a “fun” crush, and not one to overly worry about as both Mansi and Zamprogna are in committed relationships. Kate states that they have a great rapport, and he feels like, “family”.
She also notes that Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall), Dominic, and her are like a trio in scenes together, and she’s quite close to Kelly, as well, adding that the three joke around, all the time.
