General Hospital Spoilers: Finn And Elizabeth Put Their Heads Together — Who Is Setting Finn Up?
General Hospital spoilers tease that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) think they’re onto something, and they’re bent on figuring out the truth behind the lawsuit charging Finn with malpractice. Since the day he heard about the allegations against him, Finn knew this lawsuit could destroy his career.
It wasn’t until this week that he realized it could also elevate him — if he can figure out why Mrs. Muldoon has filed this lawsuit while there is evidence that her late husband had already been warned about his cancer screening before he ever saw Finn. This means either the deceased or his wife set up the hospital and Finn to run a scam, and we can bet Elizabeth and Finn aren’t going to allow that.
General Hospital Spoilers — Elizabeth Webber Should Watch Her Step
Finn and Elizabeth were quick to act and save Adam Wright’s (Joshua Benard) life after he was brought into the emergency room with likely only minutes left to live.
Finn didn’t have time to question whether the decisions he was making in the moment needed to be run by a supervising physician as a condition of his probationary period with the hospital while they are actively embroiled in a malpractice lawsuit against him.
Instead, he acted and saved a young man’s life. So when someone starts asking questions, Elizabeth is bound to have Finn’s back, but could that land her in similar hot water — even as head nurse?
GH Spoilers – Leak Hamilton Finn’s Case Was Staged
After speaking with a patient liaison — Dr. Sawyer (Catherine Kresge) — this week, Finn and Elizabeth feel confident that Dennis Muldoon knew he had cancer.
In fact, it’s starting to look like he did seek guidance from an oncologist and then tried to set the stage for Finn to take the fall for him not being diagnosed early enough to save his life.
In other words, Mr. Muldoon may have taken his best stab at setting up his death to leave behind grounds for a lawsuit that his wife could act upon. Ouch!
The hospital just might own Liz and Finn the world when they figure out this scheme and spare the hospital from a landmark lawsuit that could take them down.
General Hospital Spoilers — Someone Is After Them Both
Finn was aware immediately that someone on the other end of this lawsuit was out to get him, but he didn’t really take it personally.
It hasn’t entered his mind that this lawsuit is anything more than someone trying to cash in on an unfortunate situation — possibly that they planned from the outset of Mr. Muldoon learned he likely had cancer.
Soon though, it will become much clearer that there are personal motives involved in this takedown of both Finn and Elizabeth —- as well as General Hospital.
