General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Arrested Over Jason Frame-Up – Carly Must Prove Innocence?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could find himself needing help from his former flame in more ways than one. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is poised to get more tangled in Sonny’s storyline once she realizes he’s not getting the proper medication.

At first, Carly may suspect Sonny is lying about taking his prescription, but she could eventually figure out that his meds have been altered instead.

That could certainly prove helpful to Sonny, but he’s facing another problem now as well.

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) recently met with Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) and talked about Sonny becoming increasingly erratic and angry.

Jack and Valentin ultimately discussed the plan to eliminate Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and pin it on Sonny since he’s at odds with him in such a volatile state.

What if that elimination attempt moves forward before Carly can get Sonny’s meds situation sorted out?

Sonny could indeed find himself arrested for attempting to wipe Jason off the map.

Naturally, we know Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has other charges she could slap Sonny with soon thanks to all the Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) drama.

However, Sonny could go down for something far more serious if the setup works and it indeed looks like he tried to take out Jason permanently.

Jason could get injured and maybe even land in a coma following a trip to GH.

Things could look bleak for Sonny if he gets hauled off in handcuffs and goes to court over all this.

Could Carly become a surprise hero who works to prove Sonny’s innocence – maybe even with an assist from John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington)?

Although John would love to see Sonny behind bars, he surely won’t want him going down for a crime he didn’t commit.

Plus, John might end up feeling responsible if Jason gets hurt because of his current Pikeman mission.

Carly may work to clear Sonny’s name and find out who actually tried to take her best friend out, so we’ll see if John gets involved in a Jason takedown investigation with her.

Our predictions point to Carly and John growing even closer before she inevitably uncovers the leverage he’s been holding over Jason, so stay tuned for updates on when that revelation will strike.
