Will General Hospital's Sonny/Ava Kiss, Hook Up Again

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Ava Jerome (Maura West) will keep juggling multiple agendas during the week of May 20th to 24th. Although Ava wasn’t happy about Sunny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) taking Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to the wedding, she’ll soon see another opportunity to pull him closer. Of course, we should also mention that Ava will keep scheming to solve the mystery of Sunny’s altered meds. It turns out Ava will get some crucial information that could help her realize Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is involved. Regardless, Ava will eventually find out Sunny used his fists to send a message to Dex Heler following the nuptials.

Since Ava knows Sunny likes a yes-woman, she may defend his actions as she consoles him. Sunny will complain about Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) intervening and perhaps blame him for making things worse by adding to his anger. Maybe Sunny will admit he lost control and regret it, but he’ll stand by his disdain for the traitors. However, Sunny will fret over the fallout, since he could get arrested if Dex decides to press charges and try to get him locked up.

There’s also the matter of Christina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mony) freaking out over the drama, and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) blowing his top when Sunny seeks special favors. In other words, General Hospital spoilers say Sunny will basically hit rock bottom as he soaks in the aftermath of all this. This will be the perfect time for Ava to slither back into her role as Sunny’s main confidant. Ava will make Sunny feel like she’s the only person who will stand by him. It’s easy to imagine Ava hinting that Nina will probably get updates on what happened and judge Sunny for it. Ava may play up how no other woman is going to understand Sunny the way she does. If there was ever a time for Sunny to surrender to passion with Ava, it might be now. Will Ava end up comforting Sunny in bed as she tries to strengthen their connection? Time will tell, but our predictions suggest Ava will do her part to keep Sunny as close as possible.

General Hospital: Loving Kate Mansi As New Kristina? Here Is What She Thinks Of It

General Hospital spoilers recap for Tuesday, May 21st, reveals that Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) got some advice from Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) about preserving her bouquet and headed off to put her pajamas on. Once Violet returned, she assured Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) that she could tuck herself in and blew Gregory a kiss good night. Gregory apologized to Finn for dredging up the past earlier and insisted he was proud of both his sons. Finn got weepy as they shared a sweet moment, which included Gregory kissing Finn on the forehead. Once Finn helped Gregory out of his wedding attire, Gregory got into bed as Finn left him to get some rest.

Afterward, Finn called Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) with the news that he drank, but she got updates on the whole story and assured Finn that he didn’t mess up his sobriety date since he didn’t intentionally drink. That said, Alexis knew it was important for Finn to be careful after a slip and urged him to see that this wasn’t the end of his sobriety.

Back in Gregory’s room, he flashed back to plenty of memories, including snapshots of his sons when they were young and more recent moments of spending time together as adults. Gregory also thought back to skydiving with Alexis and how he completed his bucket list by watching Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) marry Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). After Gregory’s hand flopped down, he had a bit of a spasm before going still. Violet’s voice could be heard telling her grandpa good night, so there was a sense of finality to the scene, like Gregory was passing away after accomplishing all his goals.

In their suite at the Metro Court, Brook Lynn picked some snacks from their basket before asking Chase how he felt about Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) being on assignment instead of at the wedding. Chase was used to his mom’s job keeping her busy and thought Jackie perhaps intentionally bowed out due to her complicated history with Finn and Gregory.

After Christina Corinthos Davis fled from the scary Sunny Corinthos display she witnessed, Sunny accused Jason Morgan of calling Christina over there. Jason denied it and pushed Sunny to calm down, but Sunny insisted on chasing after Christina. Dex Heler ran off and encountered Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), who saw that he needed stitches and took him to the hospital. While they were waiting at General Hospital, Dex explained the whole story and admitted it seemed like Sunny wanted to eliminate him. Josslyn was just glad Jason kept the promise he made to protect Dex, since she still loved him.

Back with Sunny, he found Christina in one of the Metro Court bathrooms and tried to explain, but Christina flinched over him coming closer and told him to just leave. Sunny finally did so. Blae (AKA Allison Rogers) came next after being summoned over the phone. Christina was practically hyperventilating on the floor by then, so Blae assumed this was a baby crisis and wanted to get her to the hospital. However, Christina insisted this wasn’t about the baby and explained the horrific Sunny scene she’d witnessed. Blae consoled Christina and vowed not to leave her alone tonight as she took Christina up to her suite for a relaxing bath.

Once Jason called Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) over and brought her up to speed, she was appalled over Sunny purposely seeking Dex out to attack him. Jason and Carly split up to find Sunny, but then security called after spotting him in the garden area. Since Jason knew the sight of him could make things worse, he stayed around the corner while Carly approached Sunny alone. After Sunny confessed he wasn’t sure anyone loved him anymore, Carly did her best to reassure him and offered advice. Sunny was upset over Christina being afraid of him now, but Carly urged him to give his daughter time and trust that the good memories would outweigh this one bad night. Although Carly pushed Sunny not to go that far again, he couldn’t promise that and took off. Carly reconvened with Jason and worried about whether she got through to Sunny, so he gave her a comforting hug.

In Jack Brennan’s Charles Street Hospital room, Anna Devane woke him up and made it clear that she thought he stabbed himself to land at General Hospital. After Anna said Brennan was never more dangerous than when he appeared harmless, she quizzed him about his prison visit with Carly. Although Brennan was good, Anna insisted she was better and seemed to think she had the upper hand. General Hospital spoilers say Brennan could have a few more tricks up his sleeve, so stay tuned.
