Caitlin Clark Goes Viral for Dropping Player to Floor in Fever-Lynx

Shooting through her struggles, Clark continued to stay in attack mode offensively, which is what her head coach Christie Sides has wanted.

As her three-point shot would not fall, Clark shifted her focus to attacking the basket. This approach from Clark led to an incredible highlight play early in the fourth quarter, and she dropped a Lynx defender to the floor with a ridiculous crossover that led to two points for Indiana:

While some crossovers just send a defender stumbling, this one from Clark dropped Lynx forward Bridget Carleton all the way to the floor. The play has been going viral online, as numerous outlets have already posted it, including the Fever who had fans begging for the clip just seconds after the play happened.

Clark’s ability to stay aggressive in a game she has struggled is very impressive. This has helped Indiana overcome some large deficits this season, and was on display in this game vs. Minnesota, as Indiana secured the win after trailing by as many as eight points.

As for Clark’s crossover, Indiana was quick to upload another incredible angle that has also been going viral:

So much focus gets placed on Clark’s shooting ability, but her handle is among the best in the entire WNBA, and that was on full display with this highlight crossover.

While Clark did not play her best game, she finished with some very impressive stats, tallying 17 points, six assists, and three rebounds.
