Beth Bice drops another bombshell about her marriage — ‘My ex can’t beat me anymore’
Beth Bice has never been one to shy away from revealing startling details about her marriage to Jamie Thompson. Recently, she shocked social media followers by expressing relief over her pending divorce, stating, “My ex can’t beat me anymore.”
This isn’t the first time the “Married at First Sight” star has accused Jamie of abuse. In March, she told an Instagram commenter that her ex-husband had given her two black eyes. While Beth has refrained from sharing the specifics until their divorce is finalized, she continues to drop hints about their troubled marriage.
Their court date, initially scheduled for April, was postponed after Jamie filed a continuance, delaying the official end of their marriage. Despite this, Beth has continued to share snippets about their toxic relationship.
Beth recently made some eye-catching comments on Threads in response to a user asking, “Divorcees…do you miss being married or are you happier being divorced?” Beth replied, “Happier now because my ex can’t beat me anymore,” prompting numerous reactions.
When a user criticized her for staying in an abusive marriage, Beth hit back. The commenter questioned, “How did you even allow a man to beat you once? This is always a mystery to me. Once is enough for you to END it because you might lose your life.” Beth retorted, “Clearly you haven’t had someone just blank on you and beat you with a belt. You are in a state of shock and you know if you leave your whole world will be turned upside down. That person will make your life a living hell.”
Interestingly, Jamie has remained silent amid these allegations. After Beth’s initial claims, many expected a strong denial from Jamie, but he has not addressed the accusations directly. Instead, he posted on Instagram about finding peace amid their divorce, sharing a video from the Colorado mountains with the caption, “Do you hear that? That’s the sound of inner peace #lifeafterdivorce.”
