General Hospital Spoilers: Ava’s Trap for Valentin – Takes Down Pikeman Leader to Save Herself?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is quickly losing control of her latest scheme. Although Ava hoped to cozy up to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and make herself the center of his world, that plan isn’t working out very well now.
For starters, Sonny is pulling away from Ava and seems far more interested in drawing Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) closer.
Ava was Sonny’s main confidant for a while, but she’s lost whatever luster she had before.
Of course, Ava also learned that the FBI has her under surveillance, so John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) may be on the verge of making her a crucial part of his investigation.
John might eventually use Ava to his advantage as more details surface about Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) Pikeman involvement.
That brings us to Valentin’s phone call with the pharmacist and the conversation that followed with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
The pharmacist pointed Valentin in the direction of a beautiful blonde claiming to be Sonny’s wife, but Nina confirmed she hadn’t reconciled with Sonny.
Nina also hinted about Ava trying to worm her way into Sonny’s life, so now Valentin’s got a pretty good idea that Ava has caught on about the altered meds.
GH spoilers hint that all of this could add up to trouble for Valentin if Ava decides to help John to save herself!
If Valentin threatens Ava in any way, it could give her some motivation to take him down before he takes her down first.
Could Ava end up setting a trap for Valentin – one that could prove he’s taken over as Pikeman’s leader?
It wouldn’t be too hard for Ava to wear a wire and get a recorded confession out of Valentin.
John might blackmail Ava into becoming his ally – or maybe she could just fear Valentin will eliminate her if she doesn’t take action and put him behind bars.
Now that Valentin knows about Ava’s snooping, he may target her and allow John to connect some dots.
If this builds to John realizing Valentin must be running Pikeman, perhaps he’ll convince Ava to become part of a takedown setup.
Ava may make a prediction about her own grim fate if she doesn’t get on board with John’s plan!
