90 Day Fiancé’s Veronica Reveals She’s Dealing With An Infection Amid Painful Jaw Fracture
90 Day Fiancé star Veronica Rodriguez is now struggling with an infection as her jaw remains wired shut after multiple fractures. The 37-year-old reality TV star is a popular face in the franchise since her debut in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 3. Veronica was introduced as Tim Malcolm’s ex-turned-best friend. Veronica has since starred in Pillow Talk and 90 Day: The Single Life season 3. Recently, Veronica has been in the news for her rapid weight loss and her romance with Kim Menzies’ son Jamal Menzies. As viewers await her comeback to screens, Veronica is revealing the pain she’s dealing with thanks to her chin and jaw injury.
Veronica recently opened up about the incident because of which her jaw is now wired shut. Veronica was doing a push-up challenge with her brother and ended up using an ab wheel to slam her face into a marble floor. Now, Veronica is having to deal with more pain and problems as per her Instagram update. “Hey y’all, I tried to go pick up yet another prescription,” Veronica said in her story. Veronica needs an antibiotic cream for her stitches and her scars. “It’s getting… there’s a little bit of infection on the end of it,” she added. According to Veronica, CVS did not call her to tell her that her insurance did not cover it. She went yesterday to pick it up but they were closed. When she went today, they did not have the medicine in stock.
Veronica’s Daughter Chloe Has Sprained Her Ankle
So now, Veronica’s only option is to call the CVSs to get it. She’s been trying to get her daughter Chloe to help her. However, Chloe has sprained her ankle at a football game. Chloe is now using Veronica’s “knee scooter” that she used when she suffered injuries in a terrifying car accident. “So I think I need to burn some sage or some palo santo or something,” Veronica sighed. She feels there’s some negative energy all around her and her family. Veronica’s injury had torn open her chin. But Veronica knew there was more to the injury than just her ripped-open chin.

Veronica was rushed to the ER. Thankfully, her sister is a nurse and her brother is a medical student. When Veronica was being taken to the hospital, she felt saddened by the fact that her father never had to drive her to the hospital when she was growing up. Veronica got stitches and a CT scan was done to check if she had any additional injuries on her face. It confirmed Veronica’s suspicions because they found out there were fractures in three places on her face – on either side of her cheeks and her chin. Veronica opted to get her jaw wired shut instead of getting surgery. She will take six to eight weeks to recover.
In September 2021, Veronica was left with a foot broken in three places after her car accident. Veronica had to undergo emergency surgery back then. She took a while to recover, and after she did, she began focusing on her health. Veronica is a follower of hot yoga, and loves to walk around, especially when she’s on work calls. This along with her healthy lifestyle choices helped Veronica lose 25 pounds of weight. The Charlotte, North Carolina resident now has to rely on a liquid diet while her injuries heal. Undoubtedly the 90 Day Fiancé star will emerge stronger than ever when she fully recovers.
