In 2023, Julia was worried about her future in the United States due to the slow immigration process, which made her feel lost and anxious. On top of that, her neighbor mistook her for a drug addict and allegedly threatened to shoot her when she accidentally trespassed on her property. Luckily, Julia managed to receive her citizenship in March 2024.

She posted a photo with her new U.S. passport and seemed overjoyed, announcing, “I received my American passport.” Alongside celebrating her latest milestone, Julia extended a helping hand to those still navigating the immigration process.
She wrote, “If you still have any questions, I will help.” She looked content and relaxed in the picture. The post got over 8,000 likes in less than 24 hours. Julia’s fellow 90 Day Fiancé stars and followers were happy to learn she had finally achieved what she had been trying to accomplish since 2022.
Julia Trubkina Admits Citizenship Process Wasn’t Too Scary

Instagram user @sanjalethco asked, “How difficult was it?” The Russian reality star replied, “Honestly, it’s not as scary as I thought.” Julia explained that she needed to learn the answers to all the questions beforehand and successfully speak and write in English. Another user, @bernadineemmanuel, wrote, “Now you can file for your family,” to which Julia replied with a “100” emoji. Julia seemed ready to reunite with her family.
Julia has struggled a lot over the years. Therefore, seeing her achieve some significant milestones in 2024 is great.
