90 Day Fiancé star Nicole “Nikki” Sanders is a jill of all trades. Nikki currently stars in season 10 of the reality TV show with her partner Igor, AKA Justin, Shutencov. Nikki, from Hoboken, New Jersey, has a unique storyline where she is trying to get Justin to America on a K-1 visa for the second time. The 47-year-old Nikki had met Justin almost two decades ago for the first time in Moldova when he was 20 years old. Nikki was heartbroken when she realized her boyfriend at the timenhad been two-timing her. Nikki went on a dating website, where she found Justin.
Nikki began dating Justin without telling him she was a trans woman. Nikki and Justin were engaged. Justin came to the U.S. but, within a few weeks, had to go back home to Chişinău after Nikki blurted out that she used to be a man during an argument. Nikki and Justin got back together after 17 years, but Nikki started having second thoughts as she looked forward to getting married to Justin again. Justin hadn’t been faithful to Nikki, and he’d been keeping friends with benefits while he was dating the American woman. Nikki talks about her alter ego, Nikki Exotika, on her website where she reveals how she started performing on a microphone set she got for Christmas from her mom “at a very young age.” Nikki’s only dream was to become a pop star. She sang along to songs by Madonna, RuPaul, Janet Jackson, etc. Nikki grew up by the Jersey Shore and started traveling to NYC after graduation where she realized she was trans. Nikki started officially transitioning and was introduced to the late Octavia St. Laurent from the movie Paris Is Burning. Nikki asked her idol to become her “Gay (Trans) Mother” and Octavia inspired Nikki to become a singer.
Nikki took up acting, singing, and music production classes at New School University in NYC. She started performing as Britney Spears and Lady Gaga and recorded cover songs. By 2009, she wrote “Secret Girl” and recorded “Manwhore” and “Electric Touch,” then followed up with her global dance hit “All Lined up” and her LGBTQ-friendly song “Young Wild and Free.” Nikki has performed all over the world, including London, Mykonos and Amsterdam. Nikki said that she is a hairstylist and makeup artist “to make ends meet.” The late Octavia had also taught her everything she knew, how to paint her face, walk, talk, throw shade, and dress. Nikki got her gender reassignment surgery in Montreal, Canada when she was 19. She wanted to begin her new life as she started to feel “complete in her new body.” Nikki went to Beauty School in 2001 to get her license in cosmetology.

According to TheSun, Nikki has been “under the knife for nearly two decades.” She has changed her body to transform herself into a living Barbie doll. Along with her GRS surgery, Nikki also got three nose jobs, two boob jobs, and an Adam’s apple reduction. Nikki has also gotten lifts, tucks, fixing botched surgery, voice therapy, and more. Nikki says that anyone who wants advice on plastic surgery can come to her. “I’ve done every plastic surgery procedure from head to toe,” Nikki admitted during her confessional. Nikki has also gotten her eye color changed.

Nikki admits that when one looks a “certain way” they have a lot of people judging them. However, Nikki feels that when 80 percent of the world is giving her “positive feedback,” she doesn’t care what the rest of the 20 percent have to say about her. Nikki currently has over 1.4 million followers on Instagram. The number keeps growing thanks to her appearances on 90 Day Fiancé.
