90 Day: The Single Life: Natalie’s Using Mike As Her Fallback Plan (Why I Think He Shouldn’t Go Back To Her)
Natalie Mordovtseva has been trying to get too close to her ex-husband, Mike Youngquist, since 90 Day: The Single Life season 4 dropped, but Mike should stay away after their reunion. Recently, the former couple reunited, hoping to save their marriage after Natalie split from her ex-boyfriend, Josh Weinstein. Mike and Natalie met through a mutual friend, and after she relocated to the U.S., Natalie struggled to adjust to the farm life in Sequim, Washington. Mike and Natalie made their reality TV debut on 90 Day Fiancé season 7, and their drama continued in season 8.
The couple struggled over their lifestyles, religion, and more. Natalie didn’t connect with Mike’s mother, Trish, who wasn’t her biggest fan. Despite all that, Mike and Natalie got married but broke up less than a year later, with Mike finally filing for divorce in December 2023. However, Natalie is done testing the waters and wants Mike back. Despite their tumultuous relationship, she’s ready to reconnect.
Natalie Wants A Child
Natalie had beenvocal about wanting a child and even went to the extent of visiting a fertility clinic after breaking up with Josh. Natalie opened up about wanting a child after having a miscarriage with her second husband. That broke her, pushing the 90 Day: The Single Life star to find peace.
Natalie had previously revealed she had tried getting pregnant with Mike but to avail. Nonetheless, it might have been easier for the Ukrainian native to have this talk once again with Mike since they had that conversation before she moved to the U.S. Mike was hesitant about having a child at that time as he wanted her to relocate first (via 90 Day Fiancé).
“I was just thinking, you know, like, while I’m waiting in Ukraine, I could be with a belly. And, still be like, in the situation, like you never know, they can call us tomorrow saying visa is ready.”
Josh And Natalie Broke Up
Natalie and Josh met for an emotional discussion in a 90 Day: The Single Life season 4 episode, which ended with Natalie walking away. She was broken by the fact that Josh hadn’t committed to her and didn’t plan on doing so. In his defense, Josh said he tried putting in some effort, but it was never enough. Natalie cut him off short, revealing he never even invited her to his house.
Josh hadn’t met Natalie’s expectations since she moved to Los Angeles to be closer to him. Josh noted that he understood the root of Natalie’s anger, admitting he couldn’t give her what she wanted. However, since the 90 Day: The Single Life couple wasn’t on the same page about their relationship, they ended their relationship on good terms. Later, when Natalie learned Mike had agreed to visit them in L.A., she added that Mike would light up her moods, unlike Josh.
“I just broke up with Josh and I haven’t had this time, breakup moment. Like, I have a lot of mixed feelings. But on the other hand, I hope Michael will bring some light into my life.”
Natalie’s LA Dreams Failed
Natalie joined 90 Day Fiancé to gain popularity and get into the limelight. Natalie claimed she acted in over 10 movies while living in Ukraine and got her big break by auditioning for Josh’s producer friend. She aimed to showcase her abilities and secure an acting deal; therefore, she took the opportunity to perform the Shakespeare monologue in Russian (via 90 Day Fiancé). Natalie also added that she felt disappointed when her dreams didn’t happen after moving to L.A.
“You know, part of me wants to see him because I had a lot of expectations when I came to L.A. I just feel let down a lot, because none of my expectations happened.”
Natalie Is Under Pressure From Her Mother

Natalie’s mother expressed her love for Mike, claiming he was better than Josh. When she first landed in the U.S., Josh didn’t pick her up at the airport, which didn’t sit well with her, acknowledging that Mike would have gone above and beyond to welcome her. Natalie shared the exciting news on her Instagram, adding she had reunited with her mother after years of being apart. Later, she confessed that Mike assisted in getting her mom out of the Ukraine, which could explain why Natalie’s mom values Mike.
The 90 Day: The Single Life season 4 star was happy to arrange Mike’s and Natalie’s reunion, adding that the former couplemight consider having kids if they got back together. Natalie’s mom often pressured her to settle down, reminding her that time was running out. Previously, she had taken Natalie to a fertility clinic, where Natalie admitted she was afraid of having a child with someone she didn’t love. Natalie’s mom seems to have conveniently reconciled the former couple just so she could get what she wants: grandkids.
Natalie Did Mike Dirty
Mike’s and Natalie’s love story was dramatic from the moment she landed in the U.S. When Mike picked her up at the airport, she had a problem with the color of the flowers he brought. Natalie later had issues with the breakfast they had the next morning, claiming the French toast wasn’t healthy. She not only tossed it in the trash but ate raw carrots instead. Natalie’s mistreatment towards Mike was obvious, with her controlling tendencies coming to light.
Natalie also had an issue with his drinking, what he ate, and his beliefs; she always acted like Mike should have been thanking her for helping him eat better. Natalie often berated Mike about his diet and called him out about his intelligence and weight. Natalie had expressed that she simply cared about Mike’s health and wanted him to be in shape.
