90 Day: The Last Resort couple Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa decided to get a divorce on episode 11 of the reality TV show. Kalani, a 35-year-old from Orange County, California has been married to Asuelu, 27, from Samoa since September 2018. Kalani and Asuelu have two kids named Oliver and Kennedy. The couple’s marriage has never been a happy one, but fans started noticing serious problems in 2022. There were rumors of Kalani dating her boyfriend Dallas Nuez, while Asuelu was linked to Chantel Everett’s sister Winter. The truth behind their split was revealed during The Last Resort season 1.
Kalani and Asuelu’s relationship was already experiencing issues but hit a point of no return when he went back to his home country a year ago. Asuelu was in Samoa to visit his father but while he was there, he acted like a single man and went out to drink all the time. One night, Asuelu was on Facetime and asked Kalani about a white patch on his tongue which turned out to be a yeast infection. He insisted he had only kissed someone on the mouth, but when he came to America, he told Kalani he had been intimate with another woman. Asuelu wanted to make things even, so he permitted Kalani to kiss someone else outside their marriage.
Asuelu Cheated On Kalani & Gave Her A Hall Pass
Kalani met Dallas on social media. Asuelu never expected Kalani to cheat on him. However, Kalani took the hall pass. She felt betrayed by all the times Asuelu had cheated on her. Kalani took things further than just kissing. She also developed feelings for Dallas. Although Kalani tried to save her marriage by blocking Dallas, she saw Asuelu trying to delete some messages on his phone and changed her mind. Dallas flew to where the couple was filming 90 Day: The Last Resort to meet Kalani, and she spent the night with him.

By this time, Kalani realized she wanted to be with Dallas and not give Asuelu any more chances to cheat on her. Kalani called an emergency therapy session in episode 11 with Dr. Janie Lacy and Dr. Jason Prendergast. Kalani told Asuelu and the therapists that she met Dallas to “talk about things” and ended up “doing other things.” She told Asuelu it was too late for him to try to fix the marriage. “Like, you want divorce me?” a teary-eyed Asuelu asked Kalani. She nodded in return. Later in the episode, Kalani told Asuelu it would be better for them and the kids if they could get divorced right away.

Kalani has been flaunting her new man on social media, while still trying to not reveal his face because she’s bound by contracts. Kalani posted pictures of Dallas with her kids or with her on dates in which his distinct arm tattoos are visible. Kalani’s current profile photo (via @90dayfianceupdate) is also a selfie with her and Dallas with most of his face cropped out. Still, until now, there has been no news reported about Kalani and Asuelu’s divorce. Kalani might wait until the finale of 90 Day: The Last Resort to give an update about her divorce and Dallas to the world.
