Tim Malcolm is not okay with kissing love interest Luisa in 90 Day: The Single Life season 4. Tim, who’s from Charlotte, North Carolina, has become a well-known face in the franchise thanks to his quirky personality and offbeat fashion choices. The Gringo Guns owner first starred in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 3 where he was in a long-distance relationship with Colombian woman Jeniffer Tarazona. Tim faced criticism for not taking the initiative when it came to intimacy with Jeniffer, which led to rumors that Tim was trans or gay.
Tim will be repeating his patterns with Luisa now that he’s dating her on The Single Life. A sneak peek (via People) shows Tim being caught in a precarious situation as Luisa asks him to kiss her. Tim and Luisa are out on a romantic date as they lean against a railing and look at the water. Luisa has love on her mind as she smiles sweetly and gazes into Tim’s eyes. “I just want to be with you here because we didn’t have time to be together,” Luisa tells him. “I don’t want to talk, I mean, this is a beautiful night.” A confused Tim doesn’t get Luisa’s signals.

“Are you forcing me to give you a kiss right now?” Tim questions Luisa. She admits she isn’t forcing him to do anything but directly asks for a kiss. Tim makes a compromise by settling for a “little kiss” or a “sample,” as he calls it. Luisa isn’t happy with the offer. Tim then starts making excuses, such as his mouth smelling and wanting to brush his teeth. Tim candidly tells the cameras, “In my mind, I’m thinking this is the perfect moment for a first kiss for everything, except for the fact that I just ate,” during his confessional.

Tim says it’s been a while since he kissed someone. He wonders if Luisa will think he’s a bad kisser. Interestingly, Tim broke up with his girlfriend of three years, Linda Ramirez, in early 2023, which may have been right before he filmed The Single Life. He didn’t talk about Linda at all on the show, even though he’d introduced her on 90 Day Bares All in 2021. Tim’s storyline in The Single Life season 4 overlaps with Veronica Rodriguez’s. He took Veronica along to a singles event, where he bumped into Luisa, a Colombian woman he’d known for years on social media but had later drifted apart.
Tim and Luisa have gone on two dates so far on 90 Day: The Single Life. He took her golfing, where he disappointed her by refusing her advances. He said he was a “slow person.” He said he wasn’t looking for notches in the belt but was looking for a sustainable long-term relationship. Tim admitted that he won’t have sex with someone until he’s 100% sure he wants to be with them. It remains to be seen if Luisa is understanding and sticks around with Tim until he makes up his mind or if she dumps him before the season ends.
