Former 90 Day Fiancé star Paul ended up in the hospital recently after getting into a fight with a mystery woman’s baby daddy. Paul from Kentucky is a 40-year-old man who married 27-year-old Karine, who’s from Manaus, Brazil, in November 2017. The couple welcomed two sons, Pierre and Ethan, but have lost custody of both since June 2022 after seemingly getting into a violent argument. Paul and Karine seem to have quit 90 Day Fiancé, but his shenanigans keep him in the news. Karine claimed Paul was “missing” in Brazil in September 2023, but he denied that happened.

Paul shared an Instagram Story, which was reposted by Redditor Bernice1979, where he said someone allegedly assaulted him.
He wrote about how he was feeling “bad” for a single mother who got out of a violent relationship. Paul bought food and diapers for the woman’s babies. “I have no romantic relationship with her,” he added. He said that the woman’s ex-boyfriend, who is also the biological father of her kids, allegedly assaulted him. Paul claimed he was hurt so badly that he had to call for an ambulance, which took him to the hospital.
90 Day Fiancé Fans Question Whether Paul’s Hospital Story Is True
Fans in the comments section voiced their suspicions about Paul’s claims. Reddit user ExpensiveGrowth9744 posted, “He was probably harassing a single mom and creeped her out, and her bd or brother or friend beat his a**.” Paul was mocked for taking care of someone else’s kids while his own two sons are currently not in his custody. After knowing him for all these years, fans have learned not to take Paul’s word seriously. They wondered if Paul would post evidence that he landed in the hospital because, if he didn’t, there’s a chance things didn’t happen as he described them.
Surprisingly, Paul did share Instagram Stories at a hospital a little while later.
Paul didn’t show his face in the photos, but the camera was focused on his red shorts and black running shoes as he lay down on a stretcher. This time, Paul did not write any captions for his post. A paper sign on a computer read, “Neurosurgery.” He has not shared any new details of his hospital visit and neither has he revealed the extent of his injuries after his alleged assault. Paul has been living in Brazil for the past couple of years and even has an on-off girlfriend there.
Paul has been claiming he is in an open relationship with Karine and that she, too, is seeing someone new after their split. Karine had recently called Paul dangerous for allegedly hacking into her Facebook account and claiming she was pregnant and getting married to a man named Michael. One can never tell if it’s really Karine operating her own Instagram account or if Paul is the one who shares posts from her page to get attention. His latest hospital incident might also be one such strategy by the 90 Day Fiancé cast member.
