Jasmine, 36, and her partner Gino Palazzolo, 53, starred on the show and got engaged during the finale. The two of them being together was unexpected given that Jasmine was upset with Gino sharing her private photos with his ex-girlfriend. Jasmine also had a message to share with immigrants like her. “Do not accept hate speech,” she told them. She also said that discrimination and/or racism should not be accepted as a norm. She advised them that nothing will change if they don’t report it like she did.

Jasmine was hesitant about leaving Panama. She has family there, including her two younger sisters, her mom, and her two sons. Jasmine said goodbye to them with a heavy heart. After all, she was already being scrutinized by Gino’s family, who think of her as a gold digger. Jasmine had no friends, and Gino’s indifferent behavior whenever she told him about his family’s attitude toward her made her second-guess herself. Still, Jasmine is trying to build a new life for herself in America now. She’s missing her family and plans on bringing her kids to the U.S. soon, with Gino’s help.

Jasmine recently shared more screenshots from a fan who asked her to “go back” to her country. She said her heart goes out to all people who are living abroad and experiencing discrimination, racism, and/or hate speech. “We all miss home…be kind to us,” Jasmine wrote. She hoped that the critic would never have to leave their country, their roots, their family, and their home for any reason whatsoever because Jasmine believes that even under the worst circumstances, “no one wants to leave home.”
