She wrote she was very excited to announce that she is going to work as the new Hotel and Retail Supervisor at Spa Ritual, located at Sycuan Casino Resort in El Cajon, California. Kim shared several photos wearing her blue uniform from her new job surrounded by the lush environment of the resort. Kim’s happy announcement caught the attention of Usman, who commented, “Congratulations my Kimberllllllllllllllly.” Kim replied, “Thank you International Superstar Usman Umar aka SOJABOY,” with a black heart and a fire emoji.

Kim always had a job, even when she was on 90 Day Fiancé. She may have been romancing her favorite musician in Tanzania, but she knew she had a full-time gig at home to go back to support her lifestyle and not just be dependent on reality TV fame. Kim used to be a primary caretaker for her mom when Sally was sick as she had developed rheumatoid arthritis. She had taken some time off for her mom but worked as a restaurant manager. Kim has often discussed her time in the U.S. Army on the show. Kim had impressed Usman’s mom, Fatimatu, by talking about her military experience. “We have so much in common, we did the same job in the military, I mean it’s crazy,” Kim had exclaimed, referring to Usman’s brother’s military past. Usman earned the nickname “Sojaboy” because that’s what soldiers are called in their language. Kim served in the U.S. Army from 1989 to 1996. “I was Airborne and jumped out of planes quite a few times,” Kim had told a fan during an Instagram Q&A session.
Why Did Kim Leave The Military?
Kim ended up injuring herself and dislocating her hip. It gave her a permanent limp which affects the way she walks. Kim was 19 years old when she began her military career as a secretary. She had traveled to Saudi Arabia to fight in the Desert Storm. She decided to leave the military when her son, Jamal Menzies, was a baby. The Army wanted Kim to do an unaccompanied overseas tour, but she put her foot down. Kim’s military career ended with her getting an honorable discharge.
Kim has been a regular on Pillow Talk with Jamal. She also collaborated with Riley on the spin-off. It is rumored that Kim has been talking to someone new, but she’s not ready to reveal who her mystery man is. The reality star might keep her relationship private until she’s sure it’ll work out. She might not want to jump into one prematurely like she did with Usman. Kim has learned from her mistakes and has grown into a wiser woman.
