The couple had met for the first time when the former was in Egypt for a “soul searching” trip. That’s when she met Mahmoud, who was working in a fabric shop back then. The latter proposed marriage to her within just a week of togetherness.
Nicole also didn’t think twice about uprooting her life from America and moving to Egypt for her husband. She also converted to Islam for the sake of love. Viewers got to see a toxic side of their relationship where Mahmoud would always correct his wife and pester her to always cover up her body and hair. Many agreed that their relationship didn’t seem ideal.

This made it clear that the 90 Day Fiance couple was trying to make their long-distance marriage work. A new post on the Egyptian man’s profile shocked everyone.
Mahmoud made a post for his “beautiful wife,” Nicole, saying that they had completed 5 years together. He didn’t signify if the milestone was for their marriage or of the time they got together first. He shared a compilation of many photos in a video and called Nicole the love of his life. But there was still no clue if they were living together or in separate countries.

Mahmoud and Nicole always butted heads for various things. The former’s issues with the latter’s clothing were already clear. Moreover, the latter also accepted having a rude awakening when she moved to Egypt. Things didn’t fall in their favor, as these differences made it obvious that the duo was unwilling to compromise or adjust.
Nicole did ask Mahmoud once if he would consider moving to America. Well, the latter was clear that he didn’t want that. It wouldn’t be easy for him as he was Muslim. Another one of his concerns was not being able to find a mosque to pray in America. So he had dismissed the idea without any empathy or realization that his wife spent 5 months in Egypt for him.
