90 Day Fiancé: Jasmine Pineda & Other Cast Members Who Don’t Want Babies (Or Have Fertility Problems)

90 Day Fiancé stars like Jasmine Pineda, Sophie Sierra, Statler Riley, and Big Ed Brown won’t have babies for different reasons. The four cast members are most known for their journeys in different seasons over the last few years. Jasmine joined the franchise in 2021 when she debuted 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days with Gino Palazzolo. The single mom had the right personality for the show, which made her the MVP of the franchise. Jasmine and Gino starred in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 6 in 2023 and later appeared on 90 Day Fiancé season 10, which is currently airing.

Like Jasmine, Ed also appeared in the franchise a few years ago. He became known for his controversial on-screen and off-camera moments, alongside his relationship with Liz Woods. Recent rumors hint he has broken up with Liz after filming 90 Day: The Last Resort. Sophie and Statler are newcomers to the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. They both debuted in 2023 and dated their respective partners on TV. Statler pursued her British girlfriend, Dempsey Wilkinson, on Before The 90 Days season 6, and they’re still together. In contrast, Sophie joined the franchise with her American Rob Warne on 90 Day Fiancé season 10. The latest signs hint they’re together.

Why 90 Day Fiancé’s Jasmine Pineda Doesn’t Want A Baby

Jasmine and Gino’s relationship has been full of hurdles. However, not many expected them to discuss having babies due to their age gap. Gino, who’s in his mid-50s, never talked about wanting to be a father. Therefore, it was shocking when he brought up the subject in season 10, leading Jasmine to reveal why she doesn’t want to have a baby. The already mom of two shared that her second son, JC, is differently abled. She explained that she worries her next child may end up with a similar condition, which is a struggle she doesn’t want to go through again.

Jasmine has taken birth control pills since she began dating Gino. She wants to ensure she doesn’t get pregnant because she doesn’t want to risk having another baby. In a previous episode, Jasmine shared that the hardest part of having a child with special needs isn’t the parenting, it’s dealing with people and their judgment. She said, “it hurts me a lot,” adding that it feels terrible for her son. According to Jasmine, she doesn’t have the emotional strength to go through another pregnancy, even though she’s physically capable. Thankfully, Gino understands her and won’t leave her because of this.

90 Day Fiancé’s Sophie Sierra Has A “No Kids” Rule

Like Jasmine, Sophie’s journey began on 90 Day Fiancé season 10. She flew from London to the United States to pursue Rob. Initially, things were going well for Sophie, who adored that Rob proposed to her at the airport. However, she soon realized the red flags and learned Rob hadn’t been the most honest with her. From living in a dreadful apartment to dealing with infidelity, Sophie suffered a lot in her relationship but continued dating him. She didn’t draw the line until Rob discussed having children, which is when Sophie revealed her strict no-kid rule.

During one of the episodes, Sophie and Rob talked about having kids, which didn’t go well. The British native revealed she would never be pregnant, which ruined Rob’s mood and caused him to walk away angrily. Rob felt betrayed by Sophie’s revelation, as he had dreamt of having a family with her. However, Sophie remained unapologetic and confidently expressed her side. She opened up about the life-saving surgery she had years ago that left her with damaged eggs. Sophie claimed it was easier for her to make a rule about never having a baby instead of hoping to be a mother someday and feeling let down by reality.

90 Day Fiancé’s Statler Riley Can’t Have A Baby

Statler debuted in the franchise in 2023. She joined 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 6 alongside her British girlfriend, Dempsey. Initially, Statler and Dempsey cared a lot about each other’s feelings and got along well. However, their relationship worsened as they learned each other’s goals and motivations. In one of the episodes, the couple drove to Edinburgh and did some romantic sightseeing. During the car ride, they discussed having “eye babies” because they loved each other’s eyes. The conversation prompted Dempsey to share that she wanted to be a mom and get pregnant, which Statler did not want.

In the next few episodes, Statler opened up about why she wouldn’t want to be a mother. She shared that she didn’t have a “maternal bone” in her body, implying she would never be a good parent because of her lack of enthusiasm for children. While Dempsey was heartbroken by the revelation, Statler revealed more reasons why she didn’t feel like being a mom. The reality TV star talked about her life as someone who was adopted and shared that she has “a lot of adoptee trauma.” While Statler and Dempsey continued their relationship, the baby issue could become a problem in the future.

90 Day Fiance’s Big Ed Brown Can’t Have Children

Big Ed has proved he has no desire to be a father. The former San Diego resident debuted on the franchise a few years ago. He surprised viewers with his antics and became a meme-worthy, socially-infamous reality TV star. Unlike Statler and Sophie, Big Ed is already a father; he has raised a daughter who’s in her early 30s. During his debut season, Big Ed talked to his then-girlfriend, Rosemarie Vega, and told her more about his lack of interest in having more kids. He opened up to her about wanting a vasectomy.

Ed claimed he wanted to get the procedure because he already experienced life as a parent. The then-54-year-old shared that he had no desire to be a parent again, especially at his age. The reveal disheartened Rose because she wanted to be a mother again. While she already had a son from a previous relationship, she wanted to have another child with someone she intended to marry. Ultimately, Big Ed and Rose broke up due to too many mutual differences. However, it’s easy to see that the baby issue was probably one of the bigger reasons Rose decided to break up with Ed on the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off.
