Chantel had not told her parents Pedro was coming to the U.S. on a K-1 visa. While Chantel and Pedro eventually tied the knot, it wasn’t without oodles of family drama. Chantel’s family worried Pedro was with her only for a green card and didn’t really love her.
Why Did Pedro Divorce Chantel?
Screaming matches between Pedro and Chantel’s families were a regular feature in their 90 Day Fiancé storyline. Chantel and Pedro’s near and dear ones never found themselves on the same page. Pedro blamed Chantel’s family for influencing her and, in turn, ruining their relationship. Pedro declared there was no chance for reconciliation in the future as the damage was already done. He claimed Chantel withdrew $275,000 from their joint account. Meanwhile, Chantel had mentioned adultery on Pedro’s behalf as the reason for their divorce. They didn’t hesitate while slapping restraining orders on each other.

The season was just six episodes long, but it provided closure for Chantel and Pedro after their messy divorce in season 4. The family drama didn’t seem to end even though the relationship ended, as Chantel headed to the Dominican Republic to confront Pedro and took her brother Riverknight Everett along. Chantel had accused Pedro of being a predator and a user who had scammed her. Pedro apologized to Chantel for being a bad husband, but not for cheating as Chantel wanted to. What Happened Between Chantel & Giannis?
Chantel had told Giannis that she was married once before. She badmouthed her in-laws and declared that she was interested in having an orphan for her second husband despite knowing Giannis was a family man. Chantel saw Giannis not making efforts to woo her. She observed how she was always the one to hold his hand or propose a kiss. Giannis promised Chantel that he liked her, and the two stayed in touch after Chantel came to the U.S. While Chantel maintained she was single, she wished for Giannis to come and meet her.

It had been four months and Giannis hadn’t bothered to look into the visa requirements for him to fly to the States. Meanwhile, Chantel proved she wasn’t over Pedro yet in front of Giannis and her co-stars. She broke down when a clip showed her going on a motorbike ride in Greece with a stranger and how it had reminded her of her trips to DR where he drove her around the island on his two-wheeler. Chantel said she was trying her best to move on, but it hurt. Giannis may have decided to give up on Chantel after that.
How Did Chantel Meet Debbie’s Son Julian?
Debbie’s son Julian was a part of her segment on Tell All Part 4. Julian was invited to confront Debbie’s love interest Ruben Sanchez, AKA Ruben The Cuban, about his sketchy past. Ruben had also not shown any effort in wanting to meet Debbie after coming to New York to film the Tell All. Julian, who has been extra wary of the men that Debbie dates since Oussama made a fool out of her, left no stone unturned by questioning Ruben about his intentions towards his mother. Chantel may have been impressed by how protective Julian was of Debbie.
“As 90 Day singles, who would you date in the entire 90 Day universe?”
Chantel first said she’d want to be with someone like Alexei Brovarnik, but when it came to single people in the universe, she wouldn’t mind dating, “Debbie’s son.” She said that Julian being a cop was a good enough reason since he came from a “Respectable profession” and she liked a man in uniform. Veronica Rodriguez reminded Chantel that Julian also lives in Atlanta, like Chantel. Debbie also agreed that Julian and Chantel would make a good couple and that she could make that happen. She suggested Chantel should call Julian.

Jen Boecher had made a move on Debbie’s son during the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 4 Tell All. While Jen’s own relationship status with Rishi Singh was complicated at the time, she said she wasn’t going to let any opportunity to meet a new man pass her by.
“Well, it was somebody’s son.”
Jen revealed she was interested in dating Debbie’s son. She was impressed by the care he showed for Debbie. She told Gabriel Paboga, “What’s not to like about him!” Jen told Gabe that she gave Julian her number. Meanwhile, Debbie had tried to play matchmaker.
Jen liked that Julian was attractive, was closer to her age, lived in the same country, and also had a successful job. Julian and Jen did pose for a selfie together after the Tell All, but it seems they didn’t really date off-camera. There were rumors on Reddit that Julian was already in a relationship and had a two-year-old son with his baby mama, but Julian’s personal life was never really discussed on the show apart from his mom trying to set him up or female cast members like Jen and Chantel showing an interest in dating him.

They haven’t posted anything together to suggest they met again in Atlanta after the 90 Day: The Single Life Tell All. It remains to be seen if they’re dating, considering Chantel sparked dating rumors with Jamal Menzies as well.
