Gino Palazzolo and Jasmine Pineda attend his family reunion. She hasn’t always been on good terms with his family. In the beginning, she didn’t get along with his family. They didn’t know if she was using him for his money and a ticket to America. However, they came around after the pair wed and started supporting their marriage.
During the reunion, the 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After couple airs out their marital issues. He tells his family that his wife thinks he is controlling her. However, he doesn’t feel it’s true.
Jasmine explains to Gino’s family that she was an independent person in Panama. She doesn’t like being so co-dependent on her husband. She feels like a teenager having to ask permission for everything she wants to do. The TLC star feels she has to explain and justify why she needs the money to do something she wants.

Jasmine doesn’t feel like Gino understands how living in America has been for her. She is new to the country and very limited in what she can do. The TLC celeb has always been an independent woman. She was an American literature teacher for 16 years.
However, the 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After cast member doesn’t have a driver’s license. She is also not allowed to work. She feels like she is at her husband’s mercy for everything.
Gino’s sister, Michelle, takes Jasmine’s side. She tells her brother that his wife hasn’t been doing much since moving to America. However, he says he just took her to the movies and takes her to the gym every day. He thinks that’s a lot to do. But his family doesn’t agree.
