Corey Rathgeber from the 90 Day Fiancé franchise shared a concerning clip of his wife, Evelin Villegas, on Instagram. The 36-year-old Washington man and his 33-year-old Ecuadorian partner debuted on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. At the time, they stunned viewers with their chaotic relationship, which included betrayal, toxicity, and multiple cheating scandals. Despite many hurdles, Corey and Evelin somehow made things work. The two tied the knot in season 3 and kickstarted a family in Ecuador. Since appearing on TV, the pair have grown a lot and achieved various milestones together.
While Corey usually shares fun moments from his beachside restaurant, he recently posted a concerning Instagram story. Corey shared a clip of Evelin receiving care from medical personnel. The video showed the Ecuadorian woman sitting on the bed as a nurse attached a drip (also known as Intravenous therapy) to her hand. While Corey didn’t reveal what happened to his wife, he did share a few words with her in the clip. He asked, “how are you doing?” and Evelin replied immediately. She smiled and said, “hopeful to get better.”
What Corey & Evelin Are Up To In 2023
Evelin also shared a picture of herself getting her blood pressure measured. While she didn’t reveal much, she thanked the medical center for caring for her at home. Evelin and Corey have had an excellent 2023. Not only has Corey acquired an Ecuadorian residence, but he has also been able to make up his wife’s mind about moving to the United States. In May 2023, Evelin revealed she was willing to go to Washington with her husband, and seemed enthusiastic about it. She said, “it’s exciting, it’s scary,” adding that the United States will be her primary home for at least three years.

It is sad to see that Evelin has had a medical emergency. However, it’s great that she got the medical care she needed at the right time. While neither Corey nor Evelin have discussed the issue, the treatment suggests it wasn’t life-threatening. The Ecuadorian reality star looked happy in the clip and couldn’t wait to heal. It’s speculative that she probably got a viral illness or a stomach infection that weakened her body. Therefore, medical care experts gave her a drip to help her recover and get better.
Evelin was doing well a few days ago. In late August 2023, she posted a clip of herself flaunting her new hairstyle. The video proves that the popular reality TV star is still in Ecuador. She hasn’t moved to the United States yet. It would be interesting to see how Evelin deals with her new life in Washington with Corey. It could also open up a possibility for the two to return to the reality TV franchise. The pair would be a great fit for the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off, 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8.
