90 Day Fiancé star Brandan DeNuccio is sharing an update on Mary Demasu-ay’s health after she shockingly revealed that she has colon cancer. Mary from the Philippines starred in 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 5 with Brandan from Oregon. Brandan and Mary had met online and were dating for two years before he moved to The Phillippines. Mary became a loathed cast member because of her suspicious nature and the couple were mocked for being immature and careless as Brandan and Mary welcomed a new baby without thinking about finances. Now, Mary has a recent colon cancer diagnosis.
Reddit user u/colorless_squid reposted Brandan’s Instagram story where he shared a photo of Mary sitting on a hospital bed with a mask on.
He thanked fans for their support and wrote, “Mary’s already admitted at the hospital.” Brandan wrote that Mary was staying strong and seeing all the sweet messages they were sending her. However, Brandan said that Mary had also lost weight as seen in the attached photo.

“ Her smiles make me not worry too much with her surgery ,” Brandan wrote. Brandan had previously started a fundraising campaign to “ help mary financially for her colon cancer ” on gogetfunding.

Brandan Lashes Out At Fans Accusing Him & Mary Of Scamming
Some 90 Day Fiancé fans refused to believe Brandan and Mary and accused them of finding a new way to grift. There were seemingly no medical records or receipts that the couple provided. After all, Brandan himself had revealed that he called Mary a “scammer” and a “b*tch” whenever they fought. Mary’s sickness was seen as a ploy for them to make money by fooling gullible fans. Moreover, Mary appeared healthy in her recently uploaded content on social media. Brandan had an explanation for it. “Mary’s been dealing with abdominal pain, vomiting, and always having fever since before,” he wrote.
Brandan wrote that fans couldn’t see Mary exhibiting these symptoms in the videos she was posting online “because she’s always happy and energetic in the videos.” Brandan praised his wife for putting in a lot of work in the videos to make sure she could make “enough money” for their daughter Midnight and her family. Brandan wrote that Mary was refusing to go to the doctor for checkups because she was “so scared” of finding out what was going on with her stomach. “She’s scared of bloods and surgeries,” he wrote.
Brandan’s message for fans had grammatical errors which made viewers suspect Mary could have written it instead. Meanwhile, Brandan is asking his followers not to judge them but to help them. Mary and Brandan have yet to share information on the cost of the treatment and the amount they are looking to raise. Mary is supposed to be the only working member of her family. Hopefully, the young 90 Day Fiancé cast member will make a speedy recovery.
