Multiple teasers have already been released featuring Kody’s intense arguments with his wives, especially with Janelle, who cursed at him for not listening to her. The family patriarch has also said in his Cameo that some of his friends will appear in the show as he seeks advice about his struggling marriage.

The first episode summary of Season 18 says that the show will start off in the middle of Christine’s departure. According to the narrative, the ex-sister wife moved to Salt Lake City while Janelle, Meri, and Robyn struggled to prepare for the holidays in Flagstaff. Episode 1 will also feature a tense conversation between Kody and Christine Brown as they sit down for the first time since she left.

Aurora also caught the attention of many for having screen time where she got her ears pierced. Some think it’s unusual for the fourth wife’s adults to be involved in the show, especially with their current situation.
