MAFS Steve Moy and Mindy Shiben confirm rumors
Married at First Sight alums Steve Moy and Mindy Shiben sparked rumors earlier this year that they were possibly dating. The rumors began in February when the two posted pictures they were vacationing together. At the time, fans weren’t sure if they were friends or more and neither of them confirmed or clarified their status.
Now, months later, Steve and Mindy confirmed they are indeed an official couple. Steve shared a video on Instagram Thursday night and said, “If there was still any doubt, I’ll clear it up now, this woman is claimed by me 🫶🏽”
He continued his post by saying, “We’ve taken enough time to ourselves and have done a lot of relationship building to get to the point where we are feeling confident about our potential, as well as feeling comfortable sharing more of our relationship in this way”
Then, Steve shared that the video is from the trip they took for Mindy’s birthday celebration. He put the video together and they both decided to share it with fans. The video in its entirety can be seen below.
He concluded his thoughts by adding, “The Internet can be a strange place, and sometimes people aren’t too happy with the things we share, but if it can mostly be a source of positivity, and it brings some joy to our friends and followers, we’ll share some of our highlights when it feels right”
Mindy commented on his post saying she was happily claimed. She shared the same post on her own Instagram as well. Fans are excited these two MAFS alums have found one another. Many commented with congrats.
Their time on Married at First Sight
Both Steve and Mindy were on MAFS. He appeared in Season 15 and was matched with Noi Phommasak. Their relationship obviously didn’t work out and while they said yes on decision day, they split a short time later.
Mindy was on the show for Season 10 and matched up with Zach. They did not make it past decision day.
In a weird way, the show did bring them together but not from the experts matching them up. It looks as though these two have a shot to make it work long-term.
