Lifetime may already be trying to shift to the upcoming Married at First Sight Season 18 in Chicago, but, that doesn’t mean viewers have forgotten about what a terrible season the Denver season was. It will easily go down as the worst season in franchise history.
Not only did none of the couples from the Denver season stay together, but, there was even a plot to dupe producers, and more. The Denver season seemed to expose a lot more clout chasing than people who were looking for genuine relationships. It also brought to a head what many viewers have been saying about the direction the franchise has been going in for some time.
MAFS: Michael Shiakallis Opens Up About Beef With Brennan Shoykhet
As Married at First Sight fans saw, the reunion show for the Denver season was just as dramatic as the season itself. Now that the Denver season is a wrap, Michael Shiakallis has been spilling the tea on everything that went down, including a fight he had with Brennan Shoykhet that never made it on the air.
According to Michael Shiakallis, he and Brennan Shoykhet got into it. Chloe Brown confided in Brennan at one point, and that set the whole thing in motion.
Michael Shiakallis said: “We got into an argument…it never made it to the light of day but it was about a conversation he had with Chloe.” He went on, saying: “I got upset about that, and me and him, we got into it. Michael then clarified that they never got into it physically. So, it seems the spat between them didn’t progress beyond verbal.
It’s interesting that this verbal sparring match between Brennan Shoykhet and Michael Shiakallis never made it on the air, especially with how it’s all about milking the drama.

With how much of a train wreck the Married at First Sight Denver season was, there seem to be genuine friendships between all the Denver guys and Chloe Brown. Along with Chloe Brown, all the MAFS men from the Denver season got together to visit an animal sanctuary.
Michael Shiakallis even revealed that they all got together at his house for a Married at First Sight watch party. Best of all, in addition to Michael and Chloe still remaining friends despite not staying together on Decision Day, it seems Michael and Brennan have buried the hatchet as well.
There may not be many good takeaways from this MAFS season, but, these friendships certainly are something good to come out of all of this.
