Tim is a 43-year-old man from Charlotte, North Carolina, who fans have been familiar with since his debut in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 3. Tim was in a relationship with Colombian model Jeniffer Tarazona when he started his journey, and it could have been the comments Jeniffer made that sparked an interest in Tim’s sexuality. Tim did not have a physical relationship with Jeniffer on the show.
Tim also enjoyed dressing up nicely and wearing eyeliner or fashionable accessories, which launched rumors about his behavior. The audience wanted to know if Tim was gay or transgender. Moreover, Jeniffer embarrassed him on screen by continuously insulting him and declaring he wasn’t manly enough. Tim maintained that he is someone who wants to be in love with his partner before having sex. Meanwhile, Tim’s close friendship with Kenneth Niedermeier also raised eyebrows. Armando Rubio recently jokingly asked Tim if he had something going on with Kenny since he called him “Daddy.”
Tim Is Irritated By Fans Calling Him A Liar
In Tim’s interview with Entertainment Tonight, he started seeing comments questioning his sexuality midway through 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days season 3. He hoped for the rumors to have stopped by now. In the meantime, people asked him why he wasn’t doing anything to help his claims that he wasn’t gay. “ I’m not going to change who I am because of comments, so like, it doesn’t offend me,” he said. Tim can’t help but think that people are just very ignorant to use stereotypes to judge a sexuality.
“And there are people online that will, no matter what proof you present, they will not believe that I am not lying about my sexuality. …,” he continued. Tim called out viewers who felt they were right because they believed he was gay and just hiding it. “That’s very irritating to me that strangers try to accuse me of being a liar,” Tim added.
“I Were Into Men I Would Be Openly Into Men”
Tim believes that in today’s society, there’s no reason for him to lie about his sexual preferences. “If I were into men, I would be openly into men,” Tim said. He thinks he has no reason to lie about it, and at 43 years old, Tim has learned to like who he is and not be bothered by the comments. He’s come to terms with being a reality TV star who has millions of people watching “some of the most embarrassing and personal details” of his life. Tim believes that some people deal with the comments better than others.
Tim Admits He “Doesn’t Date Fans”
Tim admits that if he was 25, the comments would have “destroyed” him because he lacked self-confidence. “I am a little bit of a weirdo and a kind of a nerd, but at the end of the day, I’m a nice guy,” Tim admitted. Meanwhile, Tim had confirmed that the rumors about him being gay have never affected his dating life. “I mean, I don’t date fans, number one,” he said, before adding, “Number two, honestly, like, obviously, I entered the show with Jeniffer.” When Tim and Jeniffer’s relationship ended, he started dating Linda, which was a long-term relationship.
Tim was dating Linda Ramirez up until seven or eight months ago and hasn’t dated much since. Shooting 90 Day: The Single Life season 4 was an awkward experience for Tim because he was “taken out of his comfort zone.” Still, Tim remains unfazed by the internet talk about his sexuality.
