Here’s How Henry From ‘Married At First Sight’ Makes Money

It has been problems from the very start for Henry Rodriguez and his not-so-blushing bride, Christina. The couple featured on Married At First Sight seems straight-up incompatible in just about every way possible. For one, Henry has been reluctant to initiate physical contact with his wife, leaving Christina to wonder if he even finds her attractive. On top of that, he doesn’t seem too concerned when Christina spends an evening “moving furniture” in a friend’s apartment…only to come home at three o’clock in the morning. For some men, that scenario would be enough to end a relationship, while Henry doesn’t ever confront his wife about it. So strange!

Henry MAFS

All of the weirdness definitely gives Henry a mysterious vibe, and fans are wondering who exactly he was before the reality show started filming. We’ve done some digging to understand who exactly Henry Rodriguez is.

All About The Recruiting

According to Henry’s LinkedIn page, he is currently employed by a hospital called Ochsner Health System, where he works as a talent acquisitions recruiter. Basically, this means that Henry spends his time looking for people qualified to join the hospital staff and facilitate the hiring process.

While we won’t bore you with the dirty details of what goes on behind-the-scenes in hospital HR, we will go ahead and say that Henry probably really loves working at Oschner Health. City Business Magazine voted the hospital the number one place to work, while U.S. News And World Report ranked it as the “best hospital in Louisiana.” Very impressive!

It definitely seems that Henry has made some close friends at work. In the one-month anniversary episode, he even invited a gal pal from the office over for a glass of wine. It’s also worth sharing that the lady in question seemed very knowledgeable about Henry’s love life and even implied to the cameras that she likes to coach him through his dates. Are they super close friends, or is Henry’s colleague interested? Either way, it seems fair to say that Oschner has been a good place for Henry to make…connections.

Stability Vs. Up In The Air

Henry clearly likes to have both feet planted on the ground—at least when it comes to his professional life. Christina, in total contrast to her beau, prefers working in the clouds. The flight attendant is so comfortable living without roots that she hasn’t even bothered to rent a permanent home in New Orleans.

Some couples may be capable of working through these differences. But these two? They seem totally incapable of negotiating their dissimilar lifestyles. As Henry told his therapist in the most recent episode, Christina’s preference for bouncing around seems bizarre to him.

It seems fair to say that the guy with the office job and the girl on the fly may not be the best match… at least in this case. Of course, we will have to stay tuned to the rest of the season to find out for sure.
