General Hospital Week of July 24 Preview: Curtis’ Tragic Demand – Ava’s Killer Consideration – Sonny’s Nanny Discovery
General Hospital spoilers for the week of July 24 to July 28 reveal that a new preview video has been released. This one features Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) telling Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) to let him go in light of the paralysis. Ava Jerome (Maura West) slinks behind Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini) on the parapet. However, Ava doesn’t push her over the ledge. Instead, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) jumps into action.
Curtis Ashford’s Tragic Demand
GH spoilers reveal that the preview clip begins with an emotional Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Even though Portia is a doctor, she is also in love with Curtis. Portia had to make a tough decision about Curtis’ fate following the shooting.
Unfortunately, Curtis can’t feel anything in his legs and is now coping with paralysis.
Portia tries to provide comfort and support. Portia might also bring up all the success stories of other paralyzed patients who lead full lives.
However, Curtis has been dealt with a shocking bombshell. Curtis tells Portia that if she ever cared about him at all, then she needs to let him go.
Since Portia assured Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) that Curtis would want the surgery to save his life, she might go through some guilt.
Of course, fans know that Curtis will come around soon enough. What happens in the meantime, and will there be additional fallout?
GH Spoilers: Ava Jerome’s Killer Consideration
The preview video then goes to Ava and Betty next. Fans know that Ava was forced to replace Avery Corinthos’ (Ava and Grace Scarcola) nanny. Now, Ava has gone through a lot ever since Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) “death” storyline.
Ava’s troubles keep multiplying and now the evil nanny Betty is taking over.
As Betty smiles while looking over the ledge, Ava slinks behind her. The look on Ava’s face is pure rage.
The scene looks awfully familiar. It doesn’t help that Esme “died” after falling from the parapet during a similar scene with Ava. Fans have also noticed how Betty looks a lot like Esme!
Nefarious Nanny Shenanigans
General Hospital spoilers for the week of July 24 reveal that Ava doesn’t follow through with killing the nefarious nanny.
Instead, Ava and Betty have a tense confrontation. As Ava and Betty go rounds, Sonny approaches.
Betty informs Ava that there is nothing she can do about the situation. However, Betty’s smug smirk won’t stay on her face for long.

It is teased that Sonny interrupts Ava and Betty’s tense discussion. Sonny will demand to know what exactly is going on. It would be just like Sonny to take control of the situation.
However, what does that mean for Ava, Austin Galtin-Holt (Roger Howarth), Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey), Sonny and Avery?
Now, what we do know is Ava will finally confess. It’s also a long story that involves several different characters.
With Sonny and Ava’s daughter being pushed into the line of fire, how will this dangerous storyline end?
