General Hospital Spoilers: Olivia Won’t Send Ned To Ferncliff, But The ELQ Board Will
General Hospital spoilers report Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) has made it quite clear how she feels about Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth).
She may not have much hope left that she will ever see her husband again, but she knows that Ned Quartermaine lurks somewhere inside of that washed up, stubbled rockstar.
And even so, she doesn’t believe Eddie is of any threat to himself or anyone else. In fact, he most recently came to her aid in a bar fight when Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) couldn’t keep his hands to himself.
Olivia may not be willing to have Eddie thrown into a mental institution, but Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is chomping at the bit to do it.

Tracy was quick to suggest Eddie needs to be carted off to Ferncliff or someplace similar, and Olivia didn’t immediately rebuke her.
Taking time to hear her mother-in-law out, Olivia digested Tracy’s pitch and then threw it out with the trash. She made it abundantly clear that she is the only person with the legal authority to commit Eddie and she won’t do it.
Teach seemed to stammer off in haste with great displeasure, but if we know her, she’s not going to let this rest.
GH Spoilers – Claim Tracy Quartermaine Has A Few Tricks Up Her Sleeve
Tracy may be hedging her bets in hopes that she can swindle some of that power out of Olivia’s hands and into her own soon.
She’s been pulling punches ever since she set foot back on American soil, and she’s not about to slow down now that she’s so close to getting what she came for — having the family business back within the ranks of the family.
Can she enlist the board to help her override Olivia and see to it that Eddie has to seek care or surrender his rights to Ned’s stock in the business?
Will Olivia send him off to Ferncliff if keeping him out means saying goodbye to her financial security and Ned’s legacy for Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda)?
Will the rest of the ELQ board members back her out of concern that Eddie can’t be trusted with control over the company?

Tracy just lined up Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) recently to act on Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Staurt) behalf while he was out of the country.
But now that he’s back, where does Marty fit in? Rumor has it Tracy still has big plans for him and the ELQ board, and when clues him in on how he can help, she just might have the means of forcing him to do so as well.
Sure, she might have the reach to call upon those in power to lock up her son and start messing with his mind until he comes to his senses, but what fun would that be?
