General Hospital Spoilers: Ace Goes Missing on Trina’s Watch – Panic Erupts Over Spencer’s Vanished Brother?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) recently made Laura Collins (Genie Francis) an offer she couldn’t refuse. Laura was buried in mayoral work on the nanny’s day off, so Trina insisted she could take Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) to the park and give her some time alone.
Trina even suggested that maybe they could make this a regular thing, but Ava Jerome (Maura West) voiced some concerns once she heard the news.
From Ava’s perspective, it seems like Trina is using Ace to cling to the past instead of moving forward.
Trina feels like she wasn’t always supportive enough when it came to Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) love for his little brother, so this is apparently her way of making up for that now.
Hanging out with Ace also makes Trina feel closer to Spencer somehow, so it’s easy to imagine her wanting to spend more and more time with him.
GH spoilers say Laura may find herself unsure of whether this is helping Trina cope or hindering her from letting Spencer go.
Regardless, Trina is definitely still struggling to deal with Spencer’s demise and could get distracted while watching Ace at some point. If Ace goes missing on Trina’s watch, she may have a bit of a breakdown.
Trina could panic in a situation like that and worry that Laura’s going to have to endure another terrible loss.
It could leave Trina blaming herself and perhaps highlight any blame she might have for herself regarding Spencer’s grim fate, too.
Although Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) was the reason for Spencer’s fall into the Seine, he still went overboard trying to protect Trina.
That’s something that’s no doubt been hard for Trina to come to grips with.
A missing Ace crisis might send Trina over the edge and leave her fearing he’s been kidnapped. That could raise concerns about whether Esme somehow survived and is back to cause more chaos.
Of course, it’s possible Ace could genuinely be kidnapped by Esme or someone else.
Ace has certainly been snatched before, so no one would be surprised if there was another abduction storyline surrounding him.
However, it’s also possible Ace could be found wandering in some corner of the park.
If Ace disappears briefly, it could be more about pushing Trina to her breaking point and showing that she’s truly not OK.
