General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is not Pikeman, as so many expected him to be. It was clear when Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) met with Cyrus that the prisoner was pulling the strings behind Austin and Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey), but he’s not in cahoots with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). So that begs the question: who is?
Who is really behind Pikeman? They’re clearly employing Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), and he was obviously tasked with more than just putting Pikeman’s offer in Sonny’s lap.
Some fans are starting to suspect that more than one person could be running the Pikeman operation and that they could be thick as thieves.
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is a viable option, but many are wondering if she was really going at this alone — or if Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) might have had a hand in the mess.

While there is no doubt that Ned’s head injury played the pivotal role in knocking a few bolts loose and leaving him thinking he’s Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth), some fans have argued that the head injury only gave Ned permission to escape what had been plaguing him already.
Nah, he’s not running away from his marriage this time, but he may be trying to evade capture by his mother.
Is it possible that Tracy and Ned were working together with Valentin to take Sonny down? If so, maybe Ned was having a hard time with it, knowing his wife would never forgive him. Was this his mental escape hatch?
General Hospital Updates – Tracy Quatermaine Needs Ned Back
Regardless of why Ned went vacant and allowed an alter ego to take over his life, Tracy is desperate to get him back.
She doesn’t just miss her son, but she needs her partner in crime. It looks like her plan with Valentin is starting to go off the rails a bit as he bucks her desires and grows more concerned that Sonny is going to smoke them out.
Will Ned return in time to help them, and if so, will he still be willing to after this life-changing experience he has endured?
Olivia Quatermaine Won’t Comply
Olivia may not have been keen on helping Ned come back to his senses with electroshock therapy at Shadybrook, but that doesn’t mean she’s not going to stir up emotions in him as they grow closer together.
It remains to be seen whether Tracy will support that union or not and likely rests on whether she thinks spending time with Olivia will help Ned come out of hiding — or draw him further into it.
