Angela Deem’s latest appearance in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise is on the new spinoff 90 Day: The Last Resort, and she’s actually a likable cast member on the show. As a reality TV veteran who is known for causing drama, Angela has become extremely disliked by viewers during her stint in the franchise. Her over-the-top antics and on again, off-again relationship with Michael Ilesanmi has been difficult to watch.
Angela made her franchise debut on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 2, where she traveled to Nigeria to meet Michael after talking online. The couple have since become franchise regulars, starring in numerous spinoffs, and even got married on the show. Angela and Michael have overstayed their welcome in the franchise. Michael hasn’t gotten his visa yet, and they’ve had numerous arguments, such as Angela smashing Michael’s car after finding out he cheated on her. They’re back on 90 Day: The Last Resort, with Michael appearing virtually, to see if their relationship has another chance, but Angela is helping others along the way.
Angela Supports Molly With Her Relationship Problems
When Angela met up with other 90 Day Fiancé cast members upon her arrival on 90 Day: The Last Resort, she immediately clicked with Molly Hopkins. They had never met in person before, and have only communicated through social media, Both women are from Georgia, and have gone through similar relationship issues. During one scene in the pool, Molly confided in Angela by discussing how her relationship with Kelly Brown isn’t in a good place. Angela supported her friend by being positive about the situation and listening to Molly vent.
Angela Connects With Kalani & Asuelu During Group Therapy Session
Angela is also developing a close bond with Kalani Faagata on 90 Day: The Last Resort. When the cast members met each other at the bar before their first therapy session, Angela and Kalani had a one-on-one talk privately. Kalani explained the details about her relationship struggles with her husband, Asuelu Pulaa, which Angela could relate to. Angela assured Kalani that she would have her back throughout this whole process. During another group therapy session, Angela showed a humble side of herself by admitting that Kalani and Asuelu opening up helped her realize that she could have compassion for Michael, even though he cheated on her.
Angela Stands Up To Big Ed

After a group therapy session, Angela, Molly, Kelly, Big Ed Brown, and Liz Woods all went in a hot tub together. Big Ed and Kelly rehashed an argument they had from earlier in the day. While participating in a blindfolded obstacle course activity, Kelly accused Big Ed of cheating during the exercise and showed his anger by cursing at him.
When Kelly said that Big Ed might be acting a certain way because he doesn’t get enough attention, Angela stood up for Kelly and called out Big Ed. Angela noticed that Big Ed was showing off because he doesn’t know how to show emotion, and was able to describe his personality accurately. Since no one else is ever brave enough to stand up to Big Ed out of fear, Angela showed strength by being honest on 90 Day: The Last Resort.
