90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Sarper Güven is revealing he has a secret son, and he doesn’t even know his name. Sarper is a 43-year-old model and personal trainer from Turkey who currently stars in the reality TV show’s season 5 with Shekinah Garner, 41. Shekinah was in his country on a vacation when she swiped right on Sarper on a dating app. Shekinah decided to move from Los Angeles to Istanbul after being in a long-distance relationship for five months. Their relationship has shown signs of toxicity because of how controlling Sarper is, but there are some shocking things he’s been hiding from the audience.
Sarper took Shekinah to meet his cousins and aunt on the occasion of a holiday called Hıdırellez which is celebrated to welcome spring in Turkey. People write wishes on pieces of paper and bury them under trees while hoping for them to come true. Being an only child, Sarper grew up very close to his cousins. Introducing Shekinah to them was a big deal to Sarper. The cousins asked Shekinah about her daughter and if she planned on having another baby with Sarper. They told Shekinah they’re keen on seeing Sarper as a dad. Sarper didn’t expect his cousins to ask Shekinah about babies. as he had yet to discuss it with her himself.
Sarper’s Son Is Now 24-25 Years Old
Sarper took a piece of paper and drew two stick figures holding each other’s hands. Sarper’s cousin asked him to write a name, but Sarper admitted he didn’t know “his name.” Shekinah revealed that Sarper had told her about his secret a few months after they started dating. He hadn’t told many people about it, but the talk about having kids reminded Sarper of his long-lost son. “I have a son, but I’ve never met or seen him before,” Sarper told his shocked family. Sarper thinks his son could be 24 or 25 years old “right now.”

Sarper revealed he was on a summer vacation in 1998 when he met a Russian woman. They spent a week together during the vacation. “And so many times we had sex,” he added. Sarper did not know that the woman intended to have a child. Sarper had only given his email to the woman when they parted ways. He received an email from her three or four months later. It said that she was pregnant. The woman also told Sarper, “You have no obligation to see the child.” He deleted the email and forgot about it.
Sarper Only Knows The Russian Woman’s Name
Sarper was scared that the woman would “come and give the child.” Sarper was 18 years old back then and becoming a father was not something he would have been able to handle. While he tried to forget what happened, as he grew older, Sarper became regretful and tried to find the woman. He just knows her first name and because of this, it’s been difficult for him to locate her. Sarper’s biggest wish is to find his son and meet him. Shekinah wishes for Sarper to connect with his child.
Sarper feels guilty about having a child but not having had the chance to raise him. Shekinah doesn’t want to get pregnant again, now that her daughter is almost 16 years old. However, Sarper feels like he deserves a chance to be able to raise a child. “Having a baby is the purpose of life,” is Sarper’s belief. He hopes to persuade Shekinah to have a baby with him.
