General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny’s Garage Offer for Gio – Gives Brook Lynn’s Cousin New Job in PC

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) will be sticking around Port Charles. Based on some behind-the-scenes clues, we know Gio will extend his stay beyond the wedding he originally came to town for.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) cousin will become part of the summer action on GH, so we should start thinking about a career path for him.

Gio is a talented violinist, but that’s probably not going to be his focus moving forward.

 

When Giovanni met Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) in the May 15 episode, she realized he was another musician connected to the Cerullo family.

However, Gio also had a line about “fixing cars” to presumably set the stage for his new job in PC.

Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) sold Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) garage to Selina Wu (Lydia Look), but maybe Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will buy it back at some point.

Then again, Sonny might open a brand-new garage instead.

Either way, Sonny could make an offer to Giovanni at some point and encourage him to run or at least work at a garage in Port Charles.

Gio apparently has a real knack for fixing vehicles, so this may be the perfect fit for him.

Of course, that could lead to all kinds of opportunities for interactions with other characters.

Giovanni may become the go-to person around town when it comes to cars that break down or need urgent repairs.

It’s easy to imagine Gio coming to Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) rescue if she gets stranded with a car that’s gone kaput.

The same idea could apply to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) if she becomes a love interest for Giovanni instead.

Naturally, there may be other stories that involve broken down cars becoming a factor, so Gio could be useful whenever that happens!
