90 Day: The Single Life: Natalie Can’t Get Over Mike (Will She Ever Fully Move On?)

Natalie Mordovtseva and her current boyfriend, Josh Weinstein, are on the new season of 90 Day: The Single Life, but there are signs she is still not over her ex-husband Mike Youngquist. TLC introduced Mike and Natalie in 90 Day Fiancé season 7, and their love story continued to unfold up to season 8 before sharing their journey again in 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6. However, their relationship was riddled with problems starting from when Mike visited Natalie in Ukraine. During that trip, Natalie and Mike learned they differed on various topics, from religion to children and finances.

The couple had an explosive argument a day before Mike returned to the U.S., and Natalie threw her engagement ring in his suitcase. Natalie accused Mike of cheating with his female best friend, which he denied, and she even said Mike wasn’t her soulmate. Despite all the drama, the two married before parting ways in 2021 after only six months of marriage. They both moved on, with Mike getting a new girlfriend and Natalie a new boyfriend.

Natalie Admitted Her Mom Loves Michael

During an interview with ET, Natalie said her mother still loved Mike. She stated her mother puts her opinion on everything, including trying to figure out how Natalie left her marriage and started another relationship after a short time. She also added that Michael never stopped liking her mom and played a huge part in her mom’s arrival to the U.S. from Ukraine.

Natalie’s mom also expressed her dislike for Josh after he failed to meet them at the airport in one of the 90 Day: The Single Life episodes. “I immediately knew something was wrong when we arrived at the airport and he didn’t meet us. To be honest, I’m very upset. I think the relationship is quite weird and not sincere. Michael would have likely picked us up.”

Natalie Keeps The Door Open For Michael

Natalie revealed she wouldn’t mind Mike being her baby daddy since it seemed the most viable choice, considering that Josh already has kids. The ET reporter asked Natalie if she was still in contact with Michael and if there was a romantic relationship that could blossom. She said she tried to stay friendly with him despite their hiccups, especially after he served her the divorce papers.

“I tried to contact Michael after he served me the papers to just talk. I don’t know. I mean I never close the door when it comes to Michael.”

Natalie Talked About The Struggles They Had In Their Relationship

Natalie said she had always wanted to be in the entertainment industry, a career move Mike opposed. He believed she couldn’t succeed that quickly, something she realized was hard after moving to LA. Natalie said that was a major conflict in their marriage since Mike wanted to lead a regular life. Despite sounding like Mike is all she ever wanted, The 90 Day: The Single Life star said she didn’t regret leaving Mike but had a good time with him, and she will always root for him no matter what.
