John moved to Las Vegas with Patrick and his wife Thais after 90 Day Fiancé season 9 ended. John had been hooking up with random women since moving there. Things changed when Megan slid into John’s Instagram DMs. John liked that he and Megan had the same sense of humor. He went to meet Megan in San Antonio after four months of chatting. John found Megan attractive and was proud of the sexual chemistry they shared. After five months of talking to Megan, John changed his social media relationship status to taken. John wanted to trust the process. He claimed he knew what he was doing by dating Megan.

John’s Dating History Before 90 Day Fiancé Explained

John explains himself as a laid-back procrastinator and feels like he’s not everyone’s cup of tea. He used to get into a lot of trouble when he was younger. John partied a lot, got into fights, and even did cocaine. During 90 Day: The Single Life episode 3, John revealed that he’d had three girlfriends in the past. John was also engaged once. He said that he had hooked up with a lot of women but hadn’t dated a lot of women.

John had been single for over three years before meeting Megan. He liked to mingle and called himself a “professional bachelor.” John used to live with Patrick in their bachelor pad. Patrick used to be his “best wingman because he had money” and didn’t bother John. However, that was until Patrick met Thais.

John had been living out of his suitcase in Las Vegas since Patrick and Thais kicked him out. He had been living with his younger brother Matthew for four months. John never told Megan about it. “I’m not lying, it’s just I didn’t offer up information,” he claimed. John didn’t want his lifestyle to be a dealbreaker. John was not sure if Megan would move to Las Vegas since she was a single mom. It was the first time John had been dating someone with a child. John saw himself trading in late nights at the bars to settle down as a family man. John’s family agreed he wasn’t responsible enough.

John and Megan knew that the long-distance nature of their relationship was going to be challenging. John knew there was chemistry between them, but he wanted to be sure any commitments he made were with the right person. Even Megan confessed that the chemistry between them was “too good to be true,” but they had to go on actual dates. Megan seemed to be moving too fast. She asked John about a possible engagement and marriage when John was not ready. “I’m not here to like, just wait around forever,” she said. Megan wished to live together with John now that they’d dated for five months.

John had rushed into an engagement previously. He didn’t want to get hurt and make the same mistake again. Besides, while John saw himself becoming a stepfather to Megan’s daughter, things were now happening at a shockingly fast pace. John might have become overwhelmed with the thought of instantly becoming a family man with no proper roof over his head. John hasn’t posted anything about Megan on Instagram and doesn’t seem to be following her either. For now, the 90 Day: The Single Life star wants fans to keep guessing about his relationship status. But given the number of red flags, John and Megan may have broken up.
