90 Day: The Last Resort star Big Ed Brown is facing the wrath of fans for allegedly gaslighting his partner Liz Woods while they’re going through couple’s therapy. Big Ed, 56, is considered a franchise villain due to his relationship with Rose Vega on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. Big Ed had lied to Rose and kept her in the dark about his vasectomy plans and even his height. After his split with Rose, Big Ed began dating Liz in America. Instead of working on his issues, he made a big mistake by immediately jumping into a new relationship. Big Ed and Liz have broken up more than 10 times since they got together.
But they’re heading towards getting married on 90 Day: The Last Resort season 1, and two weeks of therapy has done nothing to help fix the reality TV star’s attitude problem. A clip from 90 Day Fiancé on Instagram shows Big Ed and Liz trying to have a conversation after she forced herself to break a fight between her partner and Jovi Dufren. Now fans are accusing Big Ed of gaslighting his partner, who “can’t win” as a result of his behavior.

Big Ed stirred the pot by telling Yara Zaya about Jovi texting a stripper ex-girlfriend. Liz tried to jump in between them to protect Big Ed as Jovi was about to punch him, but instead of apologizing to her, Big Ed told Liz, “You should not have interjected yourself into the situation.”

Big Ed claimed Liz made him look weak and like he couldn’t defend himself. “At least I had your back and didn’t have a problem trying to jump in to protect you,” Liz replied, but that just made Big Ed double down on his claims as an upset Liz stormed off, yelling, “F*** you, Ed” at him. “He gets mad at her all the time for not standing up for him and then she does, and he gets upset and says it makes her look weak. How confusing!” a fan wrote in the comments after watching the clip. “Liz you deserve so much better. You look so sad and so defeated,” wrote someone else.
The fan accused Big Ed of “mentally and emotionally abusing” Liz. They believe Liz has become accustomed to Big Ed’s behavior by being exposed to it for so long that she feels it’s normal. Fans recalled an earlier episode from the season where Big Ed had lashed out at Liz for not defending him during an altercation between him and Angela Deem. Knowing that Big Ed would expect her to fight for him again this time, Liz may have decided to take the initiative to break up his fight with Jovi. But Big Ed didn’t consider what he’d said or done to Liz in the past before making her look like the bad person in their relationship again.
Big Ed and Liz have plans to move together to Arkansas after completing therapy on 90 Day: The Last Resort. Their fights are making it look like they are bound to break up as the show reaches its finale in a few weeks. However, there are also rumors that Big Ed and Liz got married in August 2023. If that is the case, then Liz and Big Ed patched things up after another major showdown in the franchise.
