Tiffany Franco from 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way called out her former husband, Ronald Smith, for making an embarrassing post about his new partner. The drama between Ronald and Tiffany began a few years ago when the South African man split from his American wife to pursue another woman. He returned to the dating game, which prompted Tiffany to focus on herself, her kids, her business, and her health. In 2021, Tiffany underwent weight-loss surgery and lost nearly 100 pounds. She appeared on 90 Day: The Single Life, where she officially broke up with Ronald for good.
Ronald and Tiffany haven’t been on good terms after their split. They have said hurtful things about each other and showed off their new lives on social media. Most recently, Ronald posted a photo with his new girlfriend, Lauren Fraser, and tried to roast his makeup expert ex-wife, Tiffany.

Ronald proudly wrote, “My biggest flex is that my girl’s beauty does not wash off in the shower.” Tiffany responded to Ronald’s post in the comments section of one of her Instagram posts, as shared by Monsters & Critics. She claimed her ex-husband’s post was simply “embarrassing” and called her past marriage with him a “dumpster fire.”

Tiffany and Ronald’s journey on the spin-off started in mid-2019. The pair joined 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way season 1, where they tied the knot and settled down in South Africa. Unfortunately, their relationship didn’t go well for several reasons. Tiffany wanted a man who could be a responsible step-dad to her son. She had a baby girl with him, only to realize he wasn’t the man she hoped for. Ronald acted carefree throughout his relationship and didn’t make an effort to expand his life. He had no aspirations to grow and rarely showed interest in building a life with his wife. From Ronald’s criminal past to his immaturity, there were simply too many red flags for Tiffany to handle.
Tiffany isn’t wrong for calling Ronald’s post humiliating and cursing her past relationship with the man. The single mom of two did everything she could to make her marriage work but never got anything in return. She probably made the right decision by ending her marriage in 2022 and moving on to a new relationship. Tiffany has completely transformed as a person in recent months. She is now much bolder and confident enough to be herself. The Maryland native now knows her worth and doesn’t settle for anything less. She would never let another man hurt her again.
Ronald is completely out of the line for comparing his ex-wife to his girlfriend on social media. He is in his mid-30’s and has a daughter, but he still isn’t mature enough to know that comparing the two women based on their beauty is simply not okay. Ronald implied that Tiffany isn’t naturally beautiful without her makeup. His statement is not only false, but it also makes it seem like he only cares about his new girlfriend because of her physical beauty. It’s high time the 90 Day Fiancé alum realizes that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
