Sophie came from London to Los Angeles to marry Rob in 90 Day Fiancé season 10. Sophie had met Rob through an Instagram page for mixed-race men. However, Sophie was constantly reminded of how Rob had online cheated on her when they were dating. Sophie and Rob separated within months of getting married. The couple is currently not together and while Sophie is keeping her storyline a secret on social media, there’s something shocking she recently revealed.

Sophie took to Instagram on Father’s Day to reveal a dark secret about her life off camera.
She chose a black background to share her message with her followers. Sophie said that Sunday had been difficult for her. She wrote, “Today has been a difficult one for me,” and explained why. It was the first Father’s Day that Sophie’s dad was not with her. “RIP dad,” Sophie wrote, confirming that her father passed away sometime in the second half of 2023. She added a dove emoji to her Story. Sophie’s father hasn’t appeared on 90 Day Fiancé so far.
Sophie Had A Difficult Childhood Because Of Claire
Sophie mentioned her dad during her introductory episode of 90 Day Fiancé season 10. She said she was mixed race and hence stood out among her peers in Spain as she was the only black or mixed-race child at school. Sophie said her dad was Black and her mom was White. She later revealed that her dad was from Jamaica, but never shared any further details. Sophie’s mom has been a constant in her storyline so far and has been in the news recently for getting arrested. Sophie didn’t have a stable childhood.

Sophie’s father wasn’t around for most of the time when she was growing up.
Claire struggled with drug abuse. Sophie was the one who ended up looking after her mom. She was forced to take on the responsibilities of a parent when Claire dealt with addiction. Sophie yearned to have a happy family. She thought she could have one once she grew up. It was why she kept giving Rob multiple chances to clean up his act. She wanted to save her marriage and get the stable family life that she deserved. However, Sophie’s marriage broke apart within less than a year. Claire made matters worse by releasing private videos of Sophie and Rob.
Claire was arrested for terroristic threat of a family/household member. She was in jail for five nights after Sophie reportedly contacted authorities with a welfare concern. Claire hasn’t been a good influence on Sophie, even on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? She’s been meddling with Sophie’s relationship and giving her advice that doesn’t work. Sophie took forever to realize she didn’t have any chance for a successful relationship as long as Claire was tagging along. Fans suspect Claire could even be jealous of her own daughter and convincing her to end her marriage instead of sorting out matters.
