90 Day Fiancé cast member Kalani Faagata has accused Asuelu Pulaa of sexually abusing her during their marriage in a chilling statement following their recent 90 Day: The Last Resort appearance. Kalani, 34, and Asuelu, 27, first featured in 90DF season 6. Kalani who had already welcomed her first baby son Oliver, brought the Samoan man to the U.S. on a K-1 visa. By the time they had their wedding ceremony, Kalani was pregnant with their second son. Baby Kennedy was born on May 7, 2019. The couple continued their journey on reality TV show 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? but they couldn’t ever get along.
Kalani and Asuelu’s split rumors began circulating online in 2022, following which they were cast on 90 Day: The Last Resort. Kalani revealed Asuelu had cheated on her, and gave her a hall pass through which Kalani met Dallas Nuez. Now, Kalani has taken to Instagram to make some shocking abuse claims about Asuelu.
Kalani shared she had been getting hate mail and “r*pe/death threats” so she wanted to “clear some things up.” Kalani wrote, “I had a second baby because I was held down.” Kalani said Asuelu apologized for this alleged incident but added, “The other times I was SA-it’s recorded.”
90 Day Fiancé’s Kalani Clears Up Confusion About Utah House
Kalani wrote, “You can imagine how it feels to get messages about ‘taking responsibility’ and learning to keep my legs shut, when they were forced open.” Kalani accused Asuelu of allegedly impregnating her against her will leading to the birth of their son Kennedy. However, according to Kalani, they “intentionally got pregnant” with Oliver in May 2017. Contrary to misinformation about the couple’s storyline that some viewers have come to believe, Kalani and Asuelu did not have a one-night stand when they met in July 2016. “We didn’t even kiss until 2 weeks after knowing each other,” Kalani explained.

Kalani has often been slammed online for living off her parents’ money and being irresponsible. She said that was a lie. “My parents do not monetarily support me in any way and never have,” Kalani wrote. Kalani said her home in Utah was “half” owned by her and it shows up in public records. “And I always paid my part,” Kalani continued. She added that she doesn’t live with her parents and supports herself. “None of you know ANYONE you watch. You know a version of people and you crucify them over things out of their control, and for what?” Kalani asked her followers. “May all of that energy be returned back to you and yours,” Kalani told her critics.
Kalani used her therapy sessions on 90 Day: The Last Resort to reveal that Asuelu had not cheated on her once, but about 10-12 times. He had cheated on her when they started dating, even when she was pregnant and once he came to America, he began online cheating where he paid women for their naked pictures. Kalani stayed with Asuelu despite his betrayal, and he kept promising her that he would change. If rumors are to be believed, 90 Day Fiancé star Kalani has split from Asuelu and is now dating Dallas, with plans of even moving in together with him. Kalani believes Dallas truly loves and cares about her; something Asuelu never did.
