90 Day Fiancé star Jovi Dufren is slamming a critic for mocking Yara Zaya and her “obsession” with how she looks. Jovi and Yara met after matching on a travel app. They dated for six months before Jovi popped the question and Yara came to America. Life in New Orleans is not something the glamorous Ukrainian celeb Yara wanted. She also felt neglected by Jovi, who was away for months for his underwater robotics job. The tensions grew when Yara and Jovi welcomed their daughter Mylah. As things headed towards divorce, they were cast in 90 Day: The Last Resort.

Jovi received several questions, from his biggest fear to his favorite Miami restaurant to someone simply telling him he was a great dad. Someone decided to rant about Yara in Jovi’s Q&A session and asked him, “Why is Yara so obsessed with her looks?” Jovi seemed annoyed with the question yet decided to answer it to defend his wife from the trolls. He wrote, “Oh common. Everyone is obsessed with their looks,” and added a laughing emoji with tears.
Jovi & Yara Have Worked On Their Marriage
Jovi also flaunted his red carpet photo with Yara from the People’s Choice Awards. Yara looked truly gorgeous in her gothic dress with a racy cut-out and a metallic spider on her chest. The couple looked happy in the photo clicked in February 2024. They’d filmed 90 Day: The Last Resort season 1 in January 2023 and everything seems to be going well for them since then. Yara and Jovi primarily argued over his strip club visits. A fan had cheekily asked Jovi if he went to the strip club last night, and he replied, “Nah, took a night off.”
Jovi & Yara Recently Made A Big Move

Yara and Jovi have finally made a move to Florida. They posted an emotional video captioned, “officially residents of Florida” and it showed them packing their belongings and saying goodbye to Jovi’s mom, dad, and grandmother as they said a tearful goodbye to the couple and Mylah. They added that they did a lot of back and forth between Louisiana and Miami before deciding to make the move. It was a hard decision for them to leave family and friends behind, but they sacrificed it all for Mylah. They mentioned that Mylah was “so happy” in Miami and just “loving life.”
Jovi and Yara will be sharing more details about their new life in Miami slowly with their followers. Yara had already announced in November 2023 that she was looking to move to either Fort Lauderdale or Miami. Their priorities were areas with good schools and suitable for families. Meanwhile, 90 Day Fiancé viewers are joking that Jovi had one more priority while looking for his next city to call home, and that’s strip clubs. On the other hand, the couple may have also zeroed down on Miami as Yara might want to kickstart her influencer and modeling career there.
